As Amazon continues to host an increasing number of increasingly low quality items, Nugalaxy is genuinely a breath of fresh air. A few years ago I had bought Nugalaxy's portable laptop stand and was recently in the market for a tablet stand as well; when I went to check out their other items, I saw this product too, and decided to give it a go. Boy, am I glad I did!This thing is SOLID! The construction is extremely high quality and study. I have no doubt that will last me the life of my computer and beyond (yes, seriously). The design is polished, looks sleek and professional on the desk. I appreciate that the company's branding is present but minimal, not obnoxious or intrusive as can sometimes be the case with products purchased on Amazon.The stand's rotation is smooth but requires a bit of effort, so it's not going to go flying all about by the gentlest nudge of the tabletop. I have space in my office for a small yoga mat and like to use the rotating feature to turn the computer around for when I want to follow yoga videos. And yes, if I was meeting with clients (I do that all via zoom these days), it would be great for turning my screen around to show them.Adjusting the height actually requires more than a bit of effort, but given that I only need to adjust the height every now and then, I don't mind. While I didn't buy this stand with the intention of traveling with it (it is undoubtedly not as portable as the non-adjustable version - heavier and bulkier), I can't help but consider traveling with it anyway, as it's complete adjustability would allow me to create the perfect ergonomics regardless of where I work.I genuinely can't say enough good things about their products!P.S. I still use the prior version of the stand with my home computer and love the tablet stand I bought from them as well!

Excellent product , sturdy , met expectations for height capability for my desk , the base is solid and still allows for great movementI purchased this also with the idea that this is able to securely hold my laptop no slipping or concern of falling

This is a wonderful laptop stand! It's versatile and sturdy. I'm using it to alternate between a 13" MacBook and 16" gaming PC. It works whether I'm sitting or standing. The swivel is my favorite feature.

Update: I changed my rating to five stars. The company contacted me and offered me a 30% refund or a different stand from their lineup due to the stand not working for me. I reiterated the stand is of excellent quality and there was nothing wrong with the stand except I was unable to use it as intended. Therefore, I told the company I did not deserve a refund since it was my fault the stand the did not work for me rather than the stand itself. The company provided the refund anyway. Now one does not see that often! This is a first rate company and I am sorry the stand did not work out for me because I like the concept.Previous review: The construction of this stand is definitely 5 stars. I gave it only 2 stars because it did not work for me. Thinking it would perfect for my desk, I discovered it was not so handy. However the construction is excellent. It is heavy enough it never moves on the desk and it rotates so that was nice. It is stiff to move up and down but that is a good think because that means it will not slide down once you have situated it to your liking.This was purchased because a couple of years ago, I purchased a MacBook Pro and the keys were no longer "lifted" but flush with the keyboard. As an old typist I learned to type on a non-electric typewriter so I was used to lifting my fingers. Have not yet adjusted to not doing so making it hard for me to type on the flush keyboard since I tend to miss "home base" on the keyboard. I thought that perhaps lifting the computer up would help solve that problem. It did not but that is not the fault of this particular stand.

Great Laptop stand! It helps my wrists, from prior flat keyboard pain. It swivels and you can adjust the height! The construction is solid, and the keyboard doesn't vibrate like cheaper brands. I highly recommend it to anyone that needs to be comfortable typing on your terms.!

The stand feels fairly solid and stable. It has 2 pivot points for vertical adjustment. These hinges are fairly stiff so the laptop will stay in place. This is the reason why this stand works better if you don't expect to change the adjustment too often.This stand works best in conjunction with a separate keyboard. While you can type on the laptop while is it sitting on the stand, there is some level of shaking. This is inherent from this type of stands.Overall it is a good stand if you want to elevate your laptop for better viewing while using a separate keyboard with occasional horizontal rotation.Regarding transport, the stand does fold very low, it is not meant for carrying in bag on a regular basis. For that that there are better solutions. This stand is better used at home in a permanent setting.

Every once in a while, you buy that one thing that is amazing. That is what happened here. I had purchased a phone holder from this same company. The quality was so amazing I thought I would see if that same company made a computer stand. Needless to say, I was thrilled when finding this. I immediately ordered it and couldn’t be happier. The cost ,quality, durability , flexibility was beyond what I expected.. I am definitely a very happy customer.

I was originally concerned I was going to receive this and it was going to be a cheap, flimsy piece of plastic. It is not.It's a very heavy, metal laptop holder. The hinges are FIRM. You do have to pull them apart with a bit of effort, and they stay where you place them. The height adjustment is easy -- you just pull. It rotates on the circular base for utility purposes and the telescoping ability adds another layer, too. It sits well on my desk top and really helps keep the desk organized while allowing me to use the laptop in conjunction with my other tools.
