Will this fit in a car cup holder?

Does not fit well in 2011 Toyota Venza - it will fit halfway in but then it sits completely angled and will likely come out if you take a sharp turn. Also did not fit in my husband's 2010 Corolla well. Could jam it in and it stayed put but not a great fit. Very disappointing as I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew it wouldn't fit a standard cup holder as it advertised it did.

How big is the opening under the lid. I want to be able to get my hand inside for cleaning. (I would need it to be at least 3 inches across)?

It is almost exactly 3 inches across the opening.

Is the lid truly leak proof?

While the screw on part of the lid I've found to be truly leak proof, the mouth spout does leak occasionally when tilted to the side/upside down.

How much does this hold? 16oz? 20oz?

Has anyone used it to transport soup... thin-type, non-chunky? In cold temps, I like tomato and all it’s varieties; the cream soups: mushroom, asparagus; broths, etc. Thank you in advance.
