New Balance Unisex-Adult 490V5 Running Shoe

I have never owned a pair of New Balance since Reebok was usually my go to for shoes so I almost passed these up. So glad that I didn't! Comfy comfy comfy is all I can say about these and they were such a good deal. Most shoes are not good for my feet without me placing arch supports and other cushions inside, but these are nice. I can run without hurting my toes and they absorb shock pretty well so even when I run outside on hard pavement my knees aren't killing me when I get back to the house.

It's hard to order big shoes online. Maybe they fit, maybe they don't. But these 11s fit perfect! I will be using these for short distance, and in the gym. But for what i need them for the price was right. I swapped out the insoles put my custom fitted orthotics and these are a dream!

I always buy sketchers because they offer wide width. These shoes are stylish but make my feet hot. They also were not very comfortable when worn at the gym, just felt like the cushioning was in the wrong places. I like them for walking and light workouts, but not the most comfortable for long workouts and running.

Very nice , light, good for walking but not for running not enough support for running and it’s fills like your walk on floor with bare feet, sizing is tiny bigger

I ordered these shoes because I have a disability and wear a brace in my shoe . I was thrilled to find a 12 1/2 because it’s a difficult size to find. Well I have been sent a size 12 twice now, my guess false advertising. My toes are right at the end and I’m sure the brace won’t fit . Only thing is I like the style , color and price . Also no support in these shoes, I have flat feet

I have had these shoes for two months and within a few weeks, there was a hole in the inside above my big toe area. Shortly thereafter a hole from my big toe wore through the top. Now, before you judge, I get regular pedicures and my toenails are kept very short. There are no holes in my socks, either. I walk 5 miles/day on a treadmill at least 5 days a week so if you are just gonna stand around in these, they'd be perfect for you.

I’m still giving these shows 5 stars because I really like them. My only complaint is the insole, it’s too thick which makes the shoe fit somewhat small. I changed it to a thin sport insole and problem solved!! I got the at a great sale price so I’m definitely purchasing a different color if I find them on sale again!

My knee is already better after just a few days. New Balance shoes really help my back, knees and hips.

Not as comfortable as I thought. Not really much support as my other pair of new balance. A little dissapointed 🙃
