Well made from premium materials, this blanket is warm, soft on the body side, windproof and water resistant on the outer surface and large when spread, very compact when folded. I've had to buy another as my wife has moved into (or under) the first! The outer shell is a little stiff and rustles a bit for the first few uses but loosens up. Similarly it gets easier to repack in it's compression bag with use. You aren't buying an 18 tog duvet that fits in your daysack... such a thing doesn't exist, but for it's size it provides the best comfort and insulation I have come across.Thoroughly recommended!

Excellent quality - packs down well - ideal for backpacking and good value-I also have had the jungle sleeping bag for years with sewn in mossie net and that is well made and surprisingly warm for a thin sleeping bag .

It really is an updated version of the good old "woobie". Fabric feels nice and soft on the inside and sleek and water repellant on the outside. When using it as a stand alone blanket its awesome because of the slightly smaller size (when compared to a traditional woobie), better ability to keep you warm and the absence of the strings all around the edges. I like it so much that I will buy a second one for use outside of field conditions.

Used with a Carinthia Defence 4 sleeping bag and a Dutch army hooped bivvy in winter. Great addition for extra warmth or pillow if bag becomes too warm. Provides the temperature control I was looking for and lighter than a wool blanket to carry. Summer blanket in its own right plus the colour blends in when in the woods. Great kit addition.

I purchased the standard size and I'm over the moon, it's well big enough. Stuffs down into its on little sack so is great to keep me and the dog warm when we have a little chill out on a long walk.cant fault it at all.
