Would this be suitable for rattan furniture, to prevent the cushions sliding around while sitting down?

Never heard of anyone using the product for this. As Rattan furniture is like basketweave I would think the Dycem would push down into the grooves of the weave. It works well on flat surfaces and grips perfectly ok on furniture, under telephones etc, and anything you don`t want moving as you touch it. Can only suggest you try it.

About the thickness of a greetings card. It's really thin and flexible.
