What is the shelf life of this prduct

I have used some and the rest is in its Container ----------I assume its Shelf life is unlimited -- not left open I don't see how it could age ! unlike myself !!!

Does the product have a smell or odour?

If there is any smell/odour I've not noticed it. It doesn't have any strong odour like paint etc.

Can I add this to water-based gloss to make it smoother to apply?

This can be added to a water-based gloss paint to enable a smoother application
