I Have Used RP-HT225's as my goto headphones since 1998 ! - Please Read if you Want Quality Sound !
The Panasonic RP-HT225 Headphones have been Available for Over 30+ Years and they have never Changed anything About Them That Tells you something - People Buy Them & Love Them , I Know Because i Have used these headphones since 1998. I Can Tell you the Good & the Bad about these Headphones as i am a musician and Like to Master my Music Only Using these headphones as the Frequency Responce i have got so used too i can not master with any other Headphones. If Somebody Offred me a Set of OLLOAUDIO S4X 1.3 Calibrated Studio Headphones that cost about £400 a Pair but i had to Give up my £15 Cheap Panasonic RP-HT225's for good - I would Not Take the Deal as the Panasonic RP-HT225 actually Has A Wider ( Not Quite as Flat Responce ) & Higher Top End than the £400 Pair. I Don't Know how Panasonic Make the Drivers in these Headphones so Capable for £15 but they Do ! and they Work - Not Marketing Hype - I challenge anybody to find a set of headphones that can produce the Same SUB Bass & Top End for the same Price or Even 4X the Price.Another Good Point about these headphones is the Length of the Cable its about 3 Meters Long which Means they have not Skimped out on Cable Length & Yes They Come with 6.35mm & 3.5mm Plugs.O.K So Whats the Bad Points - and Yes they Do have Bad Points - The First Bad Point is the Ear Pads - after about 3+ Years the Ear Pads start too loose the Black Covering & You will no this as you will see little tiny Black parts on your ears when this happens & Also the Plastic Does Crack with Stress of Repeated Taking them on & Off - but i use them about 15 Hours a Week and recon to break them about every 4-5 Years but please remember they only cost £15 so thats really Good Value Really. Another weak Spot is the on cord Volume Control - It Tends to get a bit Scratchy at about 3.5 Years Use Again not bad for £15.Uses - Quality Sound for home Hi-Fi Listening - Mastering Audio once your Used to the Curve of the Frequency Responce - DJ's Could Use these too as they are Loud & have good isolation from Outside Sources of Sound & Can be used on One Ear Only for Beat Matching Mixing. Not so Good for Wearing while Traveling as the cord is too long for this use Case.Overall - Great Sound - Will be good for about 3.5-4 Years of repeated use if cared for - good for most static use Scenarios - No Good for Mobile Use as the cable is way too long for this.MY RATING - As a Long time User - It's Got to be 5 Stars for Sound Quality & Price

Great quality, great price!
I'd bought a pair of these well over a year ago for my son to play on his laptop with and they are still going strong. Whereas I on the other hand have been through several pairs that have either ended in breakages or sound eventually going. The cord length on these is very generous and the over-ear cups are plenty big enough for any sized ear. My son likes to play games and listen to music and he could be sat right next to me and I wouldn't hear anything at all. The in-line volume control is always a great addition, and usually one of the main things I look for in a pair of headphones. Sure they may be rather plain looking, but I don't buy headphones to look pretty. They are comfortable, and they sound great. The only thing on my son's pair that is showing some wear is around the cushioning, but they are over a year old and they do get a lot of use.For the price these really are great headphones! So now I've bought some for myself and we can play shoot-em-up video games together without disturbing the neighbours.

Good price but very poor blurred bass
This is a difficult evaluation to make given the price and I would say they represent value for money. I should explain that I have a variety of headphones already varying in price and attributes and I listen to a large cross section of music styles. I bought these because I have 2 puppies and knew that if they got their claws into them it would be the end of the world. Also these have around 3m of lead which affords me movement to reach play things etc. for the dogs.Panasonic has always held a respected name and the price right so here are my opinions, remembering hearing and preferences are a subjective matter. The frequency response seemed good, the in line volume (although an annoying thumb wheel type) maybe useful when needing to listen out, and the build relatively robust in comparison. The sound quality is good for the price but spoilt by a muffled blurred bass. This can be eased by toying with EQ but I found myself having to adjust it to each track played so that becomes a bit shut up or as I do put up.The mids and highs are fine for TV and spoken word but again tend to fizz off in song. There is little sound stage and you can feel boxed. All of these niggles are vastly improved by volume however and are criticisms by someone who is perhaps having expectancy above the means. So a nice set for the money let down by a terrible bass.

The best value for money headphones I have EVER purchased.
PACKAGE CONTENTS: Panasonic RP-HT225E-K Stereo Headphones (Black)FIRST IMPRESSION: The headphones arrived securely packaged. This product is well-built and feels hard-wearing.USAGE: These headphones are surprisingly lightweight for its size! The adjustable wide headband fits comfortably over the head without any tension. The large foam ear pads are equally snug as they completely cover the ears. The sound quality of the headphones is much better than I would have expected for the budget price. I was pleasantly surprised that it has noise isolating capabilities, although this was not mentioned in the product description! Another bonus in buying this product is its 3-metre cord; this easily extends from my sofa to my TV.CONCLUSION: The Panasonic HT225 is the best value for money headphones I have EVER purchased. I highly recommend it.
