I needed smaller ones for an activity and these were just right for the little fingers of children to manage when twisting.

Deoends what you want these for but i needed them to help clean some tiny holes etc in some windows. They are not like pipe cleaners as i remember them these are really thin and bend at the slightest touch, so i had to double over to get some rigidity. However, i guess that is what you would need if doing craft!

Exactly as required. Colourful and practical. I'm using to strengthen the legs of knitted dinosaurs.

Reasonably priced, and quick delivery. Used them with my cub scouts to make Mother’s Day craft. Just the right length too.

Materials, Nylon and steel wire. Number of pipe cleaners of each colour is somewhat random, I would have like an even mix, but only received 2-3 of some colours.I use them as nucleation targets for growing crystals on. If used for this purpose be aware that some crystal growth solutions will react with the steel. This causes the formation of bubbles that may cause the pipe cleaner to float to the top of the solution and failing to grow crystals on the pipe cleaner. Wait until the pipe cleaner has finished reacting, which will result in a protective rust layer being formed on the wire. Then simply re-heat the solution and reuse the pipe-cleaner which will no longer float. The solution may become discoloured due to the rust formation.
