Worth the extra $$
Beautiful colors. One of my favorite eye shadow pallettes that I have purchased. I usually do not spend more than 20.00 on eyeshadow, but these were worth it. Applying it is smooth and the powders are creamy and go on with ease. The colors are small so I am not sure how long it will las, but that's ok.

Love this product.
A great selection of favorite eyeshadows. Use wet or dry. I spray an eyeliner brush with a makeup setting to use as a liner spray. Using water with your brush takes too long to dry and it runs down your face easily.

Damaged Product
This product was shipped to me in an unpadded envelope and NO bubblewrap.3 of the eyeshadows were dust.Such a shame because these eyeshadows when not damaged are beautiful and go on smoothly and look good for hours.

Laura Gellar eye make up
This is a very good product that this company has made. It’s very easy to use it stays on well. The only drawback is I think they put too many colors and this pallet which means it cuts down the amount of uses of your favorite color. I think they just did like four or six color pallets that match it would be better, however, I think that the type of make up they have created here is very good. It’s very creamy and soft and it has good duration.

Love!
Soft, muted colors, for the most part. Many complain the products break/fall out. I have only had one do so. I don’t wear a lot of heavy make up so this is perfect for me. If you like bold and contrasting colors and a dramatic look, this is not for you. I discovered Laura Geller recently and am a huge fan.

Wanted to love it but can't stand it
Well... first of all the product arrived broken, which I know happens but is still a downer. The palette is also in a pretty cardboard housing, not a sturdy click-closed plastic. So it's not going to be portable and will need to use more caution to avoid getting it wet from splashback of the sink etc.So minus1 star from the get-go.I have seen so many ads and reviews that rave about LG makeup! I treated myself over the holidays to two eyeshadow palettes, this pink prosecco one and one called floral. I was really looking forward to products that are supposedly made for aging women's skin.I am so disappointed! First, almost every pan is a metallic frosted, which tends to exaggerate wrinkles and saggy eyelids! I have a lot of makeup that I tried and didn't like very much or felt a little cheated by the cost vs the results, but this has to hands-down the worst ever. It feels heavy on the skin, it didn't blend well, and most of the light to medium shades didn't show well on my "light" skin (neutral undertones,blueish-gray eyes). The darker colors are too saturated and just look like red bruises, there was no neutral brown to use as a liner. That darkest red pan is useless to me, luckily that was the broken one huh. I was forced to use the midtone pink shades as the crease-shadow and lining colors with the lighter ones for overall lid coverage and highlighter shades to tone it down. In the end I felt like the eyeshadow was caked on and much too metallic for day wear, even with a dusting of mineral veil over it. Ok, that's the skin feeling. How did it look? I checked in several light settings. I saw too much makeup, and it was not very flattering. It reminded me of the makeup ladies wore in the 1970s. I will continue to experiment on how to apply it without overload on the brush (I barely tapped my brush on the color, and I tapped the loaded brush on a clean ceramic plate to evenly distribute the color on the brush and not overload the bristles). It was still too much. Worse, the product does not blend or easily spread across the lid, it clung to the first point of contact, and blending it out was a major chore. And yes, I had done all my prep work ahead of application, with a quality eyelid primer. I tried using a clean kabuki brush to blend out or lift some of the color, but wasn't very successful, and had to apply lighter colors over the darker to neutralize. I ended up having to apply mineral veil over it to make it look less garish. It looked and felt like stage makeup, something overly dramatic for my preferences. Why so many metallic shimmer shades? Mature skin does not look great with that.I will very likely return to my tried and true formula of applying a drugstore creme makeup (Revlon!) as a base, and dusting clinique or bare minerals shadows for more dramatic effects.I found nothing in the Laura Gellar products that felt or looked as-good or better than what I've been using, so I'm really puzzled about all the hype for this makeup line. What's the deal? Are all the reviews and the testimonials really honest? I was so looking forward to trying this and feel I wasted a hundred dollars! Once again fooled by marketing! I watched Laura Gellar herself apply the makeup in her videos, and her commentary simply does not match the actual experience. It's not easy to apply, it doesn't feel silky or smooth, and it is not easy to blend. Moreover, this set appears more suitable for a darker skinned person than myself, so it's not universally flattering. Most palette collections are flattering to all skin tones. This pink prosecco is definitely not.
