Made me start making my own pasta again. (Lasagne, Fettuccine and Tagliolini model)
Like a lot of folks during lock-down I've been spending a lot more time in the kitchen.I love fresh pasta, but my skills with a rolling pin are sadly lacking. Had used a friends cheap pasta machine years ago and found it a bit of a pain as things always seemed to jam or fall off.So I decided to treat myself to a bit of a Rolls Royce machine. I could've spent even more on one of their fancy coloured models but the Scotsman in me went for the much more acceptably priced Marcato Atlas 150 pasta machine Chrome, Silver Wellness, version. Can in a sturdy box, with no assembly required. Went through the cleaning process and then started on my pasta dough. Once made and rested it was time to get the machine going. The process was pretty painless and I reckon with some more practice I'll get a lot quicker at it. The dough went through the rollers like silk, adjusting the thickness levels was very easy. The model I'd purchased was for Lasagne, Fettuccine and Tagliolini so I though my first batch should be fettuccine. Went through the cutters with no problems and soon I had a large bowl of pasta noodles waiting to be cooked. After cooking I made then with a butter and lemon sauce and topped them with some chicken roasted in Mediterranean herbs. Very tasty, as I'd made the dough with 50/50 flour and semolina it had a great mouth feel and it was all soon gobbled up.The next night I just rolled the past through the machine and hand cut the sheets into big fat pappardelle noodles. I turned them into one of the best dishes on the planet, beef stroganoff. Pure heaven.Since then I've been making coloured and flavoured pastas, using it to make ravioli, perogies, pot-stickers and all manner of things.Great machine, always seamless in use, easy to clean, has encouraged me to make things I've either shied away from as being difficult or just too time consuming. Yes there are less expensive machines out there, but they always seem trouble to use or get bad reviews, For me this has been a joy.

This is no impasta!
I love the look of this machine and really is a solid piece of equipment. It is high-quality, Italian-made pasta machine that delivers excellent results for homemade pasta lovers. Its sturdy chrome-plated steel construction gives it a durable and professional feel, making it a great investment for those who enjoy making fresh pasta regularly. It requires clamping to a solid surface and takes a little practice to be able to turn the machine and move the pasta through the rollers. The machine is pretty easy to clean and you can buy different attachments for different shapes of pasta.

Excellent Machine.
Just bought and used once. No problems using the machine after watching various You Tube videos. Results for a first attempt very very good. The machine was effortless to use and was very precise. Although expensive I believe it to be worth it. Surprised that there wasn’t a recipe book of sorts included

Need to clamp
Made raviolo on the 150. Practice a few times before using to impress. Most importantly, you’ll need something that allows you to clamp it to. Standard worktop won’t do. Fortunately, we have a breakfast bar. Results we great and it felt like it was sturdy

superior and robust (using mine to roll polymer clay)
I took a very long time deciding on which pasta machine to buy and after much debate and a lot of thought this was the one that looked like it was the best value for money and would be perfect for my needs.I am not using it to make pasta and will not be using the added attachment that comes with it. It is easy to detach that part from the machine. I am using my machine for rolling polymer clay. It works like a charm and really easy to use. It is exactly the same principle as it would be for rolling pasta. It has a number dial at the side that pulls out and around and you can roll your pasta to the thickness you desire. I have used both the thicker and thinner options (goes up to 9) .For me the bonus is that you can easily clean it and although there is a booklet with the machine I never read it. I used a paper towel and using my hand on the roller dial I rubbed down the roller and got all the different colours of clay off it before starting on a different colour. The back of the machine is easy to stick your hand up and wipe around there and once again I only used a clean paper towel as I didn't want to get the machine wet. It stores back inside the box it came in perfectly.I used the tool that holds it down on the table by turning it and securing it tightly by hand so the machine doesn't shift about. It works well and help the machine in place. The handle for turning just slots in and can be removed again too without any effort whatsoever. It is a really great machine and I would highly recommend it. It is made in Italy and I would say as a pasta machine that it is designed to be is brilliant and works well for anyone buying it to use with polymer clay too.

Don't bother with cheaper alternatives. This is the best by a mile.
I have used 2 other pasta machines before i bought the Atlas 150, both broke after some short time.Even if you think this machine is expensive the quality of the build, the action and the results are FAR... FAR superior than cheaper alternatives.I would have been better off just buying this machine first and saving money.Extremely happy with this product.

Great sturdy machine. Love it
I looked at various pasta machines with a cheaper price tag before making purchase, I must admit I was tempted by the price of the others. I do not have any regrets on purchasing this machine, so sturdy, cleaning is always going to be tricky, nature of the machine but totally love mine
