Pretty basic book, though good
I was looking for a book to help me with the accounting terms since I'm not a native speaker and I really like this book for the simplicity the author managed the subject, it helped me a lot to understand the construction jargon and the accounting terms. I happen to be working as a Bookkeeper in an Electrical Company and the book helped me to strengthen my knowledge.

Copy and paste
Copy a paste book, no real info., lots of narratives as if it is a story not an accounting book.No added value, I returned the book

Lacks the necessary value for the time and money required
If you have his Accounting basics book, this is about 75% rehashed material. The biggest issues companies face with costing particularly in construction are equipment costing and they spend almost no time on this major issue. How can you cover job costing and fail to go into a deep explanation of how to allocate equipment cost which makes up between 25-45% of cost for construction company projects.

A better than average source of Construction Information
I am a quickbooks user without deep-diving information on Construction Accounting. This book answered many of my questions.
