I've owned this bag (15" model) for well over a month and I use it for work 5 days a week.It has exceeded my expectations by far! The leather IS thick, but I'm glad for it. The checquered plaid lining is a nice elegant touch.The compartments inside are just roomy enough for my tablet, power chord and notebook. It has several extra accessory -zippered compartments as well.The top flap feels really, really solid and the front clasp mechanisms are a solid touch. In fact, with this bag I can use the clasps or buckles to fasten the top flap.I get compliments on this bag everywhere I go. It is solidly stitched and sewn. The leather smells fantastic, and people ask me, "how old is that bag?"In short, it's well made, is holding up great, looks like something James Bond or a World War one pilot would've owned.If your waffeling between this bag and another -buy this one. You won't be disappointed.

I like how it doesn’t fall over when I set it down. Looks great. Lots of compliments. The lining could be better (solid color rather than checkered) but it’s ok.

All leather bag is very nice. You can smell the fresh leather.Not faux leather, the real thing. Very high quality.Downside, buckles have clips that keep releasing.

This bag came out of the box excellent. I have used this for two years now and has been amazing. Looks good, strong, lasts.My clasp broke and they took care of me by sending me a new one right at the one year mark almost to the day. Amazing customer service.

DO NOT BUY! The clip SNAPPED IN HALF the very first time I put it over my shoulder...and it was EMPTY! I love the look of this backpack....love everything about it. When I received it I was a little disappointed that the main flap is just raw cut leather, there is no trim that goes around the edges. I didn't mind that too much though and couldn't wait to use it to haul my work laptop around town. The very first time I brought this to work with me, I got out of my car, and put the strap on my shoulder, and immediately I felt the strap come off and the bag fell onto the ground. No big deal, I thought I must have just not connected the clip to the strap all the way. Then I go to re attach it to the bag, and to my horror the actual CLIP HAD SNAPPED IN HALF, THE METAL CLIP!!! The first time I had put it on my shoulder it snapped the actual METAL CLIP in half. Keep in mind the bag was literally EMPTY still at this point too, thank god, or I would've had a broken laptop too. So freakin disappointed that this bag was a POS, like most of the reviews had warned me it was. If you are a leather worker, and can fix everything that falls apart on this yourself then maybe this bag will work for you. For the rest of us who are not, it is a major fail. DO NOT BUY!!

I bought a version that was considered “irregular “ or “used” in so so condition, so not expecting much. Didn’t mind as I like fixer uppers.I was amazed at the quality. The scuff marks that made this “less than perfect “ added so much character. Never happier than with this purchase. The quality of the leather is beyond compare

I purchased this bag because my Sampsonite bag was looking pretty tired. I didn’t realize how tired it looked until the new bag showed up. The leather on this bag is awesome – tons of character and thick. On my previous sampsonite, the leather seemed almost like it was painted on and as the bag wore, the color would peel off exposing a grayish almost fabric like material. This bag is nothing like that. The leather is real all the way through and is it wears, it gains more character rather than looking cheap and beat up. The inside liner on this bag is very nice, looks good, and keeps everything in it’s place. It’s smaller than my previous bag and at first I thought this would be a problem. However, it easily holds a laptop, chargers, phone, ipad, and a few large files with no problem. It’s actually better than carrying a larger bag that tends to become cluttered – I carry only what I need now and am more productive because I don’t use the bag as storage and then forget what’s in it. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase. I’ve bought a ton of stuff on Amazon, and have only written a few reviews – only when something is really good or really bad will I take the time to review and this bag is really good – especially for the price. At the mall, a bag like this would be $300 + assuming you could even find one. At this price it’s an excellent value. I never thought laptop bags could be so interesting, but I’ve had this for about 3 months now and about 5 or 6 people have complimented me and asked where I got it so they could order one. In the 25 years I’ve been in the business world, this has never happened once until now. I’m sure you’ll be happy with this – great quality, real/thick leather (not the fake pleather crap), nice inside liner, perfect size, tons of character, and the best price I’ve seen.
