Lighter than the ones years ago.
They will do BUT I have the same container that I got a number years ago it’s made heavier. These are thinner than the ones made a number of years ago. But I still believe they’ll be a good container. I plan on using them for cereal.

Great Rubbermaid quality
Just the right size for cereal dispensing, and the spout lid stays open while using. I get large boxes of cereal with 2 bags, so this is great for pouring and keeping cereal fresh.
