Will this work with 1/2 gallon mason jars?

The larger cap will fit a 2.5 inch lid I’m not sure of the neck size for the 1/2 gallon jar.

I didn't see it in the list, so i'm wondering if it's also compatible with the foodsaver vs1120?

It should be compatible. I have a Foodsaver VS1110, which is in the 1100 series. The Foodsaver brand attachment set that I had would not work with my model. The part that plugs into the hole was the wrong tip. In this set, the green plug fits! You do have to push until you hear a slight click sound. People have also had problems getting small jar lids to seal using the Food saver barnd. This set actually works for the smaller lid size!
