Works as well as or better than Tums & is a much better solution. It does have a mild licorice taste. I let it desolve in my mouth & in a few minutes the uncomfortable sensation is gone. I keep some in my purse because you just never know when you’re going to need 1.

I don’t even like black licorice, but these taste surprisingly good - more like a soft candy than a supplement. The texture and sweetness are spot on. But more importantly, they work. For mild heartburn, DGL helps coat and protect the esophagus, relieving the burn and making reflux symptoms far more manageable.It’s been a foundational tool in my journey off daily omeprazole after nearly a decade. I would like to use it to reduce GERD. It seems work but the taste is bad for me. I would like to take a capsule version instead.

Didn't notice this wasn't chocolate flavored and I HATE licorice, so this was horrible to use for me

Actually works to relieve heartburn. Takes a little time but overall a lot healthier than taking prescription or over-the-counter meds. Just takes time to do the job.
