With a converter running in a normal estate car on 240v will it run down the battery. I will only be using the converter with engine running ie drivin

If you have the engine running you will be fine, only if you leave it on freeze without the engine running will it start to take the power out of the battery. Otherwise you will be fine as the alternator will provide the power to your battery and onto the coolfunCK40

How loud is it when the compressor is running. Thinking of using it on my Hotel room as my halfords on is way too noisy for sleeping?

Depending on how cold you want it depends on how long the compressor runs for but it’s about 2-5 mins. Very quiet though.

Is it possible to use as a freezer to transport frozen food in a car for approx. 15 hours connected to 12V?

Yes it's great for freezing but the freezing only works with 240 volt so you would need an inverter to make 240 volt from your car battery or leisure battery. Hope this helps

Is the fridge good at keeping the same temperature overtime?

I've used this on 12v travelling, 240 on hook up and had it unplugged in an awning.It works well..temperature stays cold.I precool at home on 240 before putting in the camper. Also leave an ice block or two in when traveling.Happily recommend it.
