Update - 4/15/ 2025I replaced my PRE filter on 4-14-25 and my VOC filter on 4-15-25.That is just a little over 6 month life span for those 2 filters. My water is considered moderately hard. It in my opinion a 6 month life span for 6 carafes filtered daily is a good performance. I just purchased the descaling Kit and have yet to use it.My Carafe is still preforming well, with no issues_____________________________Update since I have received itPurchased during October Prime Day 2024Still, nothing to complain about. The unit is a nice size for my counter. It still makes great-tasting water.To the manufacturer - Can you make the unit in Blue? Try not to be subjected to Microplastic particles where I can help it. Uses an ample amount of Lemon and Lime juice to kill the chlorine smell and lousy taste of my tap water.Took advantage of the prime deal for this water purifier and am extremely happy with the results and difference made to what I am now drinking. After scouring the internet and doing my research on reverse osmosis system, I purchased this unit, and I was rewarded with a very good filtering system. The cartridges are very easier to install, easy to operate the unit, and the instructions were terrific. Best part is the water taste fresh with no after taste. The carafe is a nice size, and the filtering process is quite fast. This is my second reverse osmosis countertop system, and I'm hoping this unit will last for quite a long time. I had to give up drinking tap water even with using a PUR filter because the water was making me sick. My hubby and I always drank reverse osmosis bottled water, and when on occasion we would run out upon drinking the tap, I ended up getting sick again. A reverse osmosis system is a health necessity for me and glad I've landed a good unit.
