Worked as described! The plastic tube I put inside of this is still not melted, so I'd say it works like a dream. Would buy again!

Keep you from getting burned.
Installed this on my mini bike exhaust pipe. It has already prevented me from getting burned on several occasions. Don't get me wrong it's still hot. But you won't have an injury worthy of burn cream. Also it didn't smoke very much.

Not a good idea.
Bought this to help shield exhaust out of a diesel heater. As soon as it got hot, smoke was billowing off the pipe from this sleeve. IDK what use this has if it can't be used as advertised. Don't waste your money.
