Very easy to put together aside from the screw part,my boys are 4 and 6, they had a blast making this. The sense of accomplishment after completing building something is what im trying to instill in my boys. This is one more tool I use in keeping creativity and problem solving skills at the forefront of my boys minds. Only downside is the batteries loosely in the back so I just flipping mine I side and put a strand of duck tape over the batteries so they don't flop out. But great simple Bluetooth speaker.

My 4th grader was able to build this kit with minimal help. It powers up, connects, and plays with no issues. These little speakers sound better than one might expect for the price point.Recommend having a piece of sand paper (not included) to help with fitting the body panel tabs. We only had to remove a small amount of material, but this extra step was needed.

I bought this and the related radio for my son to build with my autistic grandson. It was a good experience, and they actually get decent reception and sound. It was also a good value.

It's works. And fits easily into a bag or suitcase for easy travel to beach, hotel, camp,etc. Also is a great teaching tool.

I was surprised at the quality of the speaker and the bass response for being battery powered. This is such a cool little set — but if your kids aren’t familiar with nuts & screws, you’ll probably want to have an adult around to help secure it properly. Overall my daughter loves her new speaker. Very cool especially for the price.

I had some Van Gogh adhesive shelf paper ... and saw this kit. And twenty minutes later - VIOLA! No, it's not Bose(tm)-quality ... but the kit is fun and easy to build. I use it at my workstation to bkeep the baseball game on ... or the news.
