I will never ever go back to using bottled shampoo and conditioner. Yuk. These bars are out of this world. They make my hair feel VERY clean, and it feels like silk. The shampoo bar suds up very well. When I use the conditioner bar, I hold it under the shower and transfer it to my head quickly and keep doing that. I find that just rubbing the conditioner bar on my head doesn’t do much but then again I like a lot of conditioner so my method works awesome! People talk about the bar breaking. Who cares? Does it really need to be in one solid piece to be able to use it? No. It’s not like it disintegrates. The conditioner bar is the one that broke in half for me and I still use it just fine. Idc if it’s in 20 pieces, after using this I will never not use it. NO greasy feeling, my hair feels super clean and SHINY!!! I took all the bottles of shampoo and conditioner out of my shower because I will not be using them again.

Today I received a replacement for the package I received yesterday that had a hole in it. The product I received today is fine. I’ve actually already used it and I absolutely love it!!My only issue is I wish that Catherine from Customer Service had told me that it had to be returned. Since I had just returned from vacation, I was going through mail throwing everything away that I didn’t need and had thrown away the product. It wasn’t getting hard. Then I get an email saying that I had to return it so it was already in the dumpster and now I’m going to have to pay for it but that’s a lesson learned for me as well. I will ask next time. All in all I love this product and I will be ordering it again. Just an FYI, always ask if the item needs to be returned lol

My hair was starting to fall out and I was panicking. It was thinning and I felt like I was losing my mind trying to find a decent shampoo and conditioner that didn’t make it feel like it was expediting the process. I had seen Kitsch and loved the natural ingredients first and foremost but then after trying it I absolutely fell in love with the ease of using the bars and the way it made my hair feel. A month or two after using it my hair felt fuller and healthier. Fast forward and my hair is back to normal, no more breakage and loss. I will forever recommend kitsch to anyone. I love that it has a variety of scents and for different hair types but also how it’s not in plastic bottles!! Get you some, you won’t regret it.

I waited until I had a few washes in to make a review, and the results are in: it’s good!I’ve been trying to find a shampoo that meets a few specific requirements, which is easier said than done. One, it must make my coarse and unruly mane of hair less of a hassle to manage. Two, it must not interfere with my ongoing issues of shedding and scalp irritation. Three, I don’t want to contribute more to landfill waste than absolutely necessary. Four, it needs to clean my hair well without relying on harsh chemicals that irritate my scalp.Yes yes, I know, I’m picky and sensitive about my hair products. But these bars meet 3.5 out of 4 of my needs (we’ll get to that half-point). The shampoo and conditioner are both great. The shampoo lathers and cleans like a liquid shampoo, and the conditioner applies easily and leaves my hair silky, stronger, and full of volume. Point one, check. It also doesn’t seem to irritate my scalp or contribute to shedding. Point two, check.The paper packaging is fantastic… though I’m not a fan of the bars themselves being wrapped in plastic sleeves that aren’t recyclable. Modern Mammals manages to use only cardboard packaging, so I don’t see why that’s not possible here. Still, it’s less plastic than a full bottle, so I’ll give it half a check.Fourth and final point; no harsh chemicals. It scored an 86/100 (“Excellent”) on Yuka, so that’s a check!I’ve tried other bar shampoos before, and they either fall apart too quickly or don’t lather or clean well (Modern Mammals, unfortunately, had both of those problems). So far, that’s not the case here. These bars are sturdy and hold up well to thick hair. Plus, they’re budget-friendly compared to liquid shampoo.I just wish they didn’t use plastic in the packaging, but otherwise, great product!

I’ve waited to write a review that was true and honest. I purchased this in December 2024 and it’s now May 14th 2025. I still haven’t gone through my bars yet! I wash my hair every other day and my bars are still going. I can say I have truly noticed a change in my hair. Before I would have almost like a film from shampoo and conditioner and I have not experienced that once with these shampoo and conditioner bars. My hair feels clean and I am losing way less hair in the shower , and also growing new hair! For the amount this cost it is 100% worth every penny. One thing I do that may help my bars last long is that they each have a separate tray that drains and I always rinse off each bar after using to get the suds off. I also take them out of the shower so they aren’t exposed to the humidity . Who knows if that’s why it lasts so long but I am about saving every dime I can! Trust me buy this! I won’t go back to bottle shampoo and conditioner again.

I recently found out that I’m allergic to a chemical that is used in most hair products, body washes and lotions. My daughter uses Kitsch and recommended it to me. After looking at the ingredients, I’ve bought and have been using for about a month. Took me about a week to get used to it but I love the way my hair feels and my scalp as well as my skin.

I’m changing my review because of the very excellent customer service. I’m surprised by the high reviews as my experience with these bars was not so great. For the price I would rather invest in normal liquid shampoo and conditioner. The bars don’t last long and the results were not all that extraordinary. I thought I could use them when I travel but don’t think they would travel well. Too messy. But again, if you aren’t satisfied the response of the seller is excellent and the product is worth a try.
