Ortho Approved
My husband broke his elbow and the sling he got from the urgent care wasn’t great. I ordered this one and he says it’s very comfortable, breathable, and he feels more secure. The ortho doc said it was a great purchase. The Velcro is super strong, it is adjustable, provides the support his arm needs without hurt this back, and he can put it on himself.

Easy to use and comfortable.
Perfect if you need to keep your arm or shoulder from moving. Soft material.

Comfortable but difficult to put together
I bought this for my wife after rotor cuff surgery. The instructions on how to put it together were pretty bad. It took a while to figure out how all the straps were supposed to go on, but once that was figured out, it goes back on pretty easily and is more comfortable and less bulky than the one the dr gives you.

Very comfortable, good fitting sling
I have 2 torn tendons of my rotator cuff and split tearing of my biceps tendon, with biceps cramping at times. This sling is so comfortable and holds my arm in a position to decrease the cramping. It is long enough to fully support my wrist and hand. I can put the sling on one-handed, which is a necessity. I am anticipating having shoulder surgery soon and know I will need to keep my arm in a sling for a few weeks I’m glad this sling is easy to put on.

Not for us, but maybe for you
Bought for my husband post bicep tendon surgery with the hope that it would help hold his arm in place better. He wore it for about 5 minutes and said that it was not working for him and made it hurt worse. The strap cushion could have been a little wider to accommodate the velcro.Fit seemed good though.I see how it could be nice, but not for us.

Durable and Teen Boy Proof
My 13 year son decided to play Superman on his scooter and totally wiped out breaking his collarbone. He had to wear the hospital provided immobilizer for a couple weeks then we needed to get one a little less restrictive. This was the perfect fit. He still had the support needed but also had more flexibility. Teen boys are rough and this held up to his boy antics and helped this mama’s sanity of knowing he had the support.

Great sling!
I dislocated my shoulder and the ER sent me home with a cheap sling. It did not have great support and it was very uncomfortable. I am so glad that I bought this sling on Amazon! It was very easy to assemble, offers great support and keeps my shoulder much more stabilized. The material is heavier than the hospital sling and would probably be too warm in the summer, but it's great for this time of the year (late November). I would definitely recommend it!

Poor design
This sling was definitely not what I expected. It has almost no adjustability at all. The places where you would naturally like to adjust it, namely the main one over the shoulder, are actually stitched closed. Should be velcro there. Also for this reason, you have to place the sling over your head and shoulder then lift your arm into the sling support. Be aware if you have a painful shoulder injury and cannot move your arm away from your body except for a small degree (like a rotator cuff injury, for example), it is excruciatingly painful to put on. I would not recommend at all.
