Perfect for connecting to your laptop or TV to watch a movie
I got the Ankbit Pro Bluetooth Headphones primarily so that I can watch TV in the bedroom and not disturb my wife. For anyone else who wants them for the same reason, you must connect to the TV via Bluetooth and not the dongle. Unfortunately, it is not too clear that you need to do it through Bluetooth. I like others, tried to use the dongle plugged into the TV and it just wouldn't work. Finally, I figured out that for a lot of TVs you will have to do Bluetooth though there may be some Smart TV's that can connect through the dongle. The only other negative I have with these headphones is the bass response, which depending on the source can be a little weak. If I were getting these to primarily listen to music, I might be a little disappointed but as I got them to listen to TV, or watch a movie on my laptop or tablet, the bass response is not as important. The sound for watching TV or even making phone calls is particularly good and the noise cancelling microphone means the other party can hear you clearly and the 40mm drivers allow you to hear them clearly as well. I plan to see how well they do with the mic and connecting it to the PS4 for my wife as she killed her last headset. The battery does seem to last quite a while, which is another positive aspect. Overall, for the purposes that I got the Ankbit Pro Bluetooth Headphones, they do an excellent job. As long as you know what you are getting and getting them for the right purpose, you should be happy with the Ankbit Pro Bluetooth Headphones, I know I am. I do recommend the Ankbit Pro Bluetooth Headphones .

Good core functionalities, with very poor additional features
To me the most important features for good headphones are comfort, sound, and connectivity. These Ankbit Pro headphones actually do well in all these categories. It is quite impressive to have that. These headphones are actually really lightweight and comfortable. There is a very nice weight distribution without strong clamping force and pinch on top of the head. I have a relatively large head, and generally it is not super easy for me to find a pair of headphones that are really comfortable. I will say the earpad's breathability is not really great. It is winter/spring right now, so I can wear them just fine. I can see in summer, things can get a bit sweaty. Overall, comfort is almost comparable to higher end headphones like Sony WH-1000xm4. Sound wise, they actually sound quite good. The sound is a quite neutral one without heavy emphasis on bass, but still, the sound is loud, clear, and dynamic. Connectivity is also quite simple. Pairing with a device with bluetooth is as simple as any other bluetooth headphones. Range is also quite good, comparable to any higher end headphones I have.Where the headphones fall short is in the additional features it advertised to have. The bluetooth dongle is somewhat not working for me. It seems to only support sound output, and I couldn’t get audio input working with the mic after pairing the headphones with it. I don’t know if it is a user error on my end, but I really tried without success. The dongle also does not work with any smart TV I have in the house. The product title has ‘TV’ in it, and that plus some product images led me to believe it can be plugged into the usb port of a smart TV and that will just work with the headphones. I don’t think that’s the case, at least with a few Samsung TVs I have at home. This can just be my misunderstanding of the product, but I would say the wording is a bit misleading. The headphone also has NFC. I cannot get it to work with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra by tapping for pairing. Pairing just never succeeded. The mic has a USB-c interface that can be plugged into the headphone. However, that USB-c port is also the charging port. That means every time I charge the headphone, I need to take the mic off and risk losing it.With the headphone’s price point, and how it is advertised, I think I am a little bit disappointed. It has all the great core functionalities, but it has so many misses on the additional features. Given how fierce the competition in the bluetooth headphone space is, I find it difficult to recommend this pair as those core functionalities are not enough for this headphone to stand out in the competition. Perhaps when the headphones go on sale, it will be worth the purchase. After all, it is comfortable, has good sound, has good connection, and has a very long lasting battery.

Just okay for me
I'm not that impressed by this headset, especially considering the price. I have a comparable wireless headset for my Xbox (but also compatible with my PC) that costed a similar amount but has much higher sound quality.Comfort is acceptable - the earpads are very soft and squishy to the touch, but feel a bit cheap and like they will not hold up very well over time. The headset also feels rather tight even when the band is expanded to fit.As for the sound quality, it is only passable. The soundstage is very small and feels cramped, with very recessed mids and highs. There is some bass to the sound but nothing to write home about. They would work in a pinch for listening as a travel set but for actually sitting down and enjoying music, they are mediocre. Another annoying this is that when I'm connected to my phone using Bluetooth, my normal EQ app is disabled for some reason. I do not have this problem with other BT headphones. As for the microphone, my co-workers have informed me that the sound quality is good and my voice comes in clearly for calls. I do like that the mic is detachable as well.Compatibility is good considering the 3 included cables (USB-C to 3.5mm, USB-C to USB, and USB female to USB male). You also get a dedicated wireless USB dongle to use with compatible devices.I do like how portable this headset is. The mic easily detaches and the headphones fold up to fit in the included drawstring bag. Another travel consideration is that while this is not an ANC headset, the passive sound isolation provided by the earcups is pretty good.Unfortunately, this headset is inferior in many ways compared with my old standby, especially in the sound quality, so I will keep them around only for travel and not as my daily driver.
