I took a chance with this item. I built a custom pc for myself and installed windows 11 pro via a usb stick direct from windows. (Boxed from windows)It would not work. Kept hanging at “just a moment”. Nothing I tried worked to bypass that.Took a chance on this one and windows 11, same problem. Believe me I took all the right steps. I removed every usb device and tried over and over. Nothing worked.This device has multiple versions of windows on it so I tried windows 10. Installed without issue. I updated the drivers, bios, software and then upgraded to Windows 11 without issue.This item has some mixed reviews but it saved me spending even more hours fooling around with “just a moment” and the stupid “defaultuser0” error.Thank You.

Wow, this USB stick does a freaking lot, actually. But all I ever needed it for was to reinstall Windows onto another drive after my C drive failed. Which, It totally did, but I was still surprised by the functionality of this USB stick. While perhaps not the most user-friendly or intuitive item at first, it was still a lifesaver once I pieced together the information within. Great work!

Thinkpad wi5 processor would not boot and could not repair itself even using repair USB created at time of purchase. This device requires a little bit of tech knowledge and instructions difficult without that but got device up running and back to 100 % in 30 minutes. Very pleased.

Amazing. Tried to figure out myself how to reset a computer with no access to log in using my own usb and online tutorials with no luck, got this one and worked like a charm. Every issue I had was easily solved using the screenshots and videos provided on the usb.

Works perfect- got a used computer with admin password lock out- easily reset and bypass and reinstalled win 7. Has troubleshoot information for every contingency. Was able to troubleshoot windows install issue with the very helpful information in picture, video and a read me doc.Highly recommend

I had suddenly got the blue screen of death on my gaming laptop I bought used in 2019. It prompted windows recovery but wasn't able to fix anything. I couldn't reset it, access any files or anything.Plugged this in and booted it up and found out one of my hard drives had died. I was able to use this drive to see the files left on the remaining one, move those to an external hard drive and then reinstall windows to reset everything. Now my computer works again, just without my 1TB of files now gone forever :') don't be like me, backup your files.

This product is great if the following are true:• You already have a licensed version of Windows on your PC;• Your version of Windows hasn’t been updated in a while; AND•You don’t have any means to create an installer yourselfHowever, if your Windows on your PC is mostly or completely updated already, then the installation will delete all of your files and apps. This is because the versions in this product are not the most recently available versions, and Windows doesn’t like it when you revert to an older version.It also doesn’t contain a product key, so if you’re on Windows 10 and you want to upgrade to Windows 11, it won’t work. If at all possible, your best option is to either buy the latest version of Windows 11 from Microsoft (if you need a product key) or to download the operating system from Microsoft’s website onto a blank (NTSF-formatted) USB flash drive and use THAT to reinstall Windows with the most up-to-date version. That will allow you to reinstall while preserving apps and files.

Worked like a charm - my old activation disc was no good after sitting in a drawer for so long, so this saved me a ton of trouble. Easy to use and worth the money!
