This is the one you are looking for.
I have tons of displayport adaptors and this is the only one that is able to reliably send a signal. Now you are probably here looking to see if it can do 4k 120hz HDR and I will let you know right off it will do so with ease. In addition I found these to be a god send for enterprise laptops that are so touchy about what they want to work with. I tried a dozen adaptors from well known brands with far less stringent needs (4k 60hz no HDR) and they would all fail where this adaptor while over spec'ed for the task has been rock solid. The one thing of note is that I have not been able to get VRR or Gsync to connect with this. The documentation on the viability of this is questionable but I did want to note that I have not been able to get that functioning.Overall this is an amazing adaptor and well worth the cost.

Works great on my Mac Studio
I had been using an Anker HDMI 4k USB-C connector with my Mac Studio for a year or so and it was getting really hot and the screen would lose connection for a few seconds at a time. I figured it needed replacing and saw the Cal-Digit (I've used their Thunderbolt hubs in the past) option with 8K support. I don't have an 8K monitor but figured I *might* someday..! Works great, screen actually looks clearer to me, so perhaps the Anker 4K was forcing me into a lower refresh rate than I had expected and never noticed. Either way, it works perfect to run at 4K/60 on my Dell monitor, and is not getting as hot as the Anker was. Solid option, much higher quality than the $10 random company adapters, and on-part with (if not better) than the Anker option.

Excellent Solution for RTX 5090 & S90C issues
This Hdmi 2.1 to DP 2.0 adapter is a lifesaver!!!I have a RTX 5090 Graphics Card and a Samsung S90C OLED TV and they just do not work wepl together at all. Extreme amount of flickering, random black screens, crashes, color corruption.I spent hours and hours troubleshooting, reinstalling drivers multiple times, pouring through obscure forums looking for any clue, tries an HDMI emulator adapter, and no luck at all and then I came across this adapter and my S90C is finally not flickering or having any issues!!! I would have paid double the price for this after finding out how it well worked.I dont even notice the lack of VRR, there was no screen tearing whatsoever when gaming maybe the 5090 was pushing enough frames not to notice but regardless Im a happy camper.

Do not last long!
It worked great for 15 months. Then it started to flicker and simply stopped working. It's a shame!

Thankful this product exists
A bit of a godsend for me, given my rather embarrassing situation. Spent a good deal of time unplugging and plugging in my graphics card, doing upgrades to my PC. Last instance of plugging in the HDMI cord, boom, bent the HDMI receivers. Did some research and found that I could use a Display Port to HDMI adapter to regain use of the graphics card. Ran into the problem of not quite finding a suitable adapter for what I wanted resolution and refresh rate wise. Then comes along this product. Works instantly, no oddities as of yet. More than able to maintain my current 4k, 120 hertz setup, and play my modern games. The adapter does get somewhat warm, but certainly not hot. Good price for the product, given the value of being able to use it rather than taking my graphics card to a professional for a risky repair to a modern graphics card. I will update this review if anything becomes amiss or is substantial enough to inform others about. For reference, my graphics card is an MSI Radeon 7900xtx (one HDMI 2.1, three DP 2.1).

No VRR, but the only one that works for LG OLED + RTX GPU's
This is probably the only DP to HDMI 2.1 cable/adapter that works for an LG OLED. Every single other one I tried had a problem out the box, though I mostly only tried cables. Do note that you will not get VRR, but that's okay, because VRR causes flickering in most OLEDs anyway.

Works great - even with docks - but audio is choppy
Pros:- Supports my monitor's resolution of 3340x1440 over HDMI even with > 100 Hz- Works using my Belkin Thunderbolt Dock's DisplayPort out and monitor's HDMI inCons:- Audio over the HDMI is choppy and cuts in and out. I verified that using a straight display port from the dock does not have this issue and also a straight HDMI from the source does not have the issue either.Takeaway:This works great as long as you aren't concerned about audio! It's possible that maybe the bandwidth required to process the video at a high resolution and refresh rate PLUS the audio signal is too much? Not sure.

Works PERFECTLY with 4K 120 Hz
This HDMI to DisplayPort adapter works perfectly to allow me to send 4K 120Hz from my PC to my TV as a third monitor. Attached is the NVIDIA Control Panel setting that I use, but it has worked in every setting that I have tested thus far. Great build quality. I cannot get VRR to work with it, but I would not even ding a star for that (plus, the item description does not claim that it can do VRR). This item saved me from having to figure out how to split the one HDMI output on my RTX 4090.
