These are actually BETTER than I anticipated! I was thrown off by them being flat, but upon reading the instructions, then watching them do their trick, it was well worth it and a nice surprise. The abrasion isn’t very strong, which I like having sensitive skin, it’s actually perfect. The size is huge which gives a better grip and cleaning power. The thickness of this luffa holds and lathers your body wash so that you don’t have to keep applying product. You can actually see the body soil on it which says how deep it’s cleaning your pores . So don’t just a luffa by its color just how it cleans!!

This loofah is great. It does get bigger with warm water but the loofahs were too big so I ended up cutting them in half. They are pretty rough but not too rough and with time they do get soft. They are pretty thick and they do last a long time but since the roughness goes away you might have to switch it out depending on your preference.

I have been buying these for years. Leaves my skin very soft without the feeling of getting scrubbed too hard. Also, they never smell (though my bathrooms have small fans that blow into the shower to keep humidity out) and they don't mold. Love them!

I’ve was getting big pimples all over the back of my upper thighs (under my booty) and as well on the sides of my thighs so badly that I ended up going to see my dermatologist. Long story short, the first thing my Dr. asked was if I ever exfoliate my body which was actually shocking to hear. I honestly thought exfoliating was just to make your skin soft .. anyway, I’m stupid.It turns out that when you have dry skin like me, when you don’t exfoliate the dead skin cells clump up and it causes a breeding ground for bacteria. Well, usually I would of turned to one of those natural carwash-esque body sponges but I vividly remember how they all fall apart in the shower and clog the drain, thus, in my continued search until I found this brand of sponges.You guys, this sponge is an awesome exfoliator. First of all, technically this isn’t even a sponge - it does not hold any water (it does but you’ll see what I mean if you buy it) so lathering actually works best if you get the sponge wet first then add soap and THEN letting the scrubbing action happen on ur wet skin with No extra water to do the work for you. This method works tremendously well for exfoliating and this statement comes from someone who would use 50 grit sandpaper if it was normal. Y’all.. this is the roughest yet gentlest sponge I’ve ever exfoliated my body with — like, if you have KP or severe dry cracking skin then you want this product because depending on the force used, you can either gently/casually clean yourself with it or completely scrape off your stratum corneum. I enjoy option 2.I hate to admit but my skin is so soft and clear from this sponge, it actually healed ALL of the skin issues that I was having and you can’t even tell I was having pimples nearly the size of boils, just a lesson I guess kids - exfoliate!!!! (With this sponge)I’m not bald but I use this in my scalp and it’s heaven and I think it’s made my hair thicker by stimulating my scalp. If you have a man in your life that’s bald he would probably love this. Before I finish this review it’s worth noting that this sponge does not hold water so it air dries every day and never gets moldy. This is also very durable and hasn’t broke apart yet and I definitely beat this thing up. The fact that you get 3 for the price is awesome, mine is freaking HUGE!

It's nice to have a natural product. I'm not sure if it's the loofah or the soap I'm using, but I often have to use a lot of soap to get it sudsy. The product itself is medium firmness. It's not super soft, it's not super stiff, it feels exfoliating and I would not recommend applying pressure at all when your scrubbing your body (you don't even need to scrub). Especially around the breasts, I recommend not using this around the breasts so it doesn't scratch the delicate skin. But for the body to properly exfoliate, and having keratosis pilaris (chicken skin) this is helpful to exfoliate. I usually feel so clean after the shower. It takes a bit to soften. Mine arrived with some volume, it wasn't flat, unlike other reviews and easy to puff up. It takes a few minutes for it to get soft and wet under the water, so there is a bit of a prep for the loofah, follow their instructions. It REALLY lasts a long time, I've had this loofah for a few months now and I'm still on the first one. Its staying clean (although it does easily collect hair due to the texture, just make sure to pull your hair out), it's not gunky at all and it's really easy to use. I don't want to go back to other plastic loofahs cause its bad for the envronment and they also feel like they're not doing anything.Be gentle using this loofah. Prep it beforehand, softening it under hot water. Allow it to dry fully. I don't keep it inside of the shower so it's less exposed to humidity and that may be why its lasting a long time as well. Overall, good product, be considerate of its firmness around the breasts. I wouldn't use this on the face.

These loofas are organic and last a long time with keeping its shape. They exfoliate my skin but not too scratchy that it’s bothersome. I’m really hooked on these and give them out as gifts.

I'm never buying another loofah again I love the exfoliation of this sea loofah. I've never liked the fact that regular loofah never exfoliate my skin enough. This one father's soap amazingly. Make sure you soak it in warm water and dish soap to clean it before you use it! It is really dirty.
