How does the Groove Belt Low Profile compare to the Groove Belt?

Made with the same materials as its predecessor but with a much smaller buckle and webbing! We designed this belt to fit the smallest belt loops, so ladies and men can enjoy its versatility.

What size Groove Belt should I order?

Match the belt size you order to your pant size! If you're at the high end or on the cusp of a size, we recommend sticking with the size down. For example, if you're right at 36" or right at 37", we'd recommend ordering a medium.

What's the strength of the Groove Belt magnet? Is it safe around pacemakers, phones, etc?

The high strength neodymium magnets are N42 magnets. It is safe for use around your phone. We do not recommend our belt if you have a pacemaker or any other medical device that may be affected by magnetic fields.

Will the belt set off metal detectors? Are they TSA approved?

Yes, they are subject to setting off metal detectors and are not TSA approved. We advise you to remove your belt and wallet before going through the metal detector.

How can I clean or care for my Groove Belt?

Mild soap and warm water are all you need for cleaning! We recommend cleaning after a fair amount of wearing just to be sure dirt doesn’t hang around. For the belt, a stain remover pen has also been known to do the trick.

These are nice belts

This is actually my 4th Groove belt--I bought 2 in the wider size but have some pants that need a narrower belt, so added this so I wouldn't only have black. They are easily adjustable, and the magnetic clip clasp is fast and easy to use.The nice thing about this over a conventional belt with holes is that you can adjust it for your exact waist size, as opposed to just the nearest hole. When I bought the first two over a year ago I had a larger waist, but it was easy to trim them down so I don't have a lot of extra material. You just cut it and then singe the end with a flame so it doesn't fray.They are a little pricey for a belt, but I think they will last a long time. The older ones I have show no signs of wear.

Slimmer Is Better

I have been a Groove Belt customer for years. I really like the concept. I originally wore the standard size belt, but it was sometimes difficult to put through the belt loops or take off. In addition, the wider plate has damaged my khaki pants, putting a wear spot where the bottom of the plate rubs against the material covering the zipper. This slimmer belt is so easy to put through the loops, and I hope it will be less irritating to that place on my khakis.
