Why doesn't the new 4100 model have a regular plug ? why on gods green earth did they cheap out and put a usb plug in there ??

According to the review in WireCutter (Sept 2022), you can contact SonicCare and receive a free plug adapter. I've just ordered the 4100 on Amazon. I don't have the serial number yet, because the product doesn't arrive until tomorrow, but SonicCare customer service just told me that they would send the free plug adapter once I provide the model number and serial number to them. They confirmed there is no charnge. It will take 7-10 days to receive the plug adapter once I am able to provide them with the serial number. I'll do all of that after the product arrives tomorrow.

Does anybody make a single speed electric toothbrush? I'm so tired of cycling through the speeds

Cycling is the most effective way to brush each quadrant sufficiently.

What is the purpose of having two intensity modes? How do you know when you should use one or the other?

if you have more sensitive teeth and gums you can use the softer mode

What do the green and yellow lights mean? what about the beeping noise after the 2 minute brush? I thought low battery but is it replacement head?

So glad I invested in a sonicare toothbrush.

This has been game-changing for my dental routine. Instead of brushing hard and pressing too much into my teeth, I allow the brushes to glide over and the vibrations do the rest. I get such a glistening clean effect that I never got from my old electric toothbrush.The battery is fantastic, it can last me upto 4 days with cleaning twice a day. The extra setting is really good and flosses alongside my WaterPik, leaving a really deep clean. It's very good at what it does.I love the fact it's pink, too. better than the other most common brand on the market

Have been using competitor brand for years. Won’t mention name in case it violates any rules and review could be removed. But everyone knows what that other brand is.This one is so much better. Cleans through vibrations and not mechanical movement like the other one. The head is much smaller to help reach in very narrow spaces. It leaves teeth much cleaner. Definitely recommend.

Power button breaks easily then battery dies.l

Button does not last. I purchased this in October 2023 and it was great, until the power button started to wear near the end of December 2024...Now the button is completely worn out and broken. I have to cover it with electrical tape so water doesn't get in and zap it, but it's clearly already breaking further. Super disappointing for an electric toothbrush from a reputable and trustworthy company, plus I've barely had it over a year! Now I have to buy a new electric toothbrush, which is really frustrating. Won't be going with this again.
