Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this because I had never seen a salad topper for reptile food. It seemed reasonable for the price. Value for money:I think the price is fair. I will keep buying it. Quality:It is a powder substance that sprinkles very well over the reptile veggies. Highly recommend. Smell:It is a strong smell however it is not a bad smell. Taste:My iguana LOVES this stuff!

I sprinkle this on my sulcata tortoises greens along with the “all reptiles calcium ( with vitamin D ) also from gargeer.com. My young tortoises don’t seem to mind it. It’s hard to tell if they love it but I am glad that they are getting the supplements since I am not able to feed them grass from the African tundra, which I assume would be the appropriate diet. I read that certain greens like Kale inhibit the absorption of calcium which can lead to shell deformity, so my advice is to research leafy greens that are not known to have adverse effects on your pet.Also, Why is the word Tortoise spelled "Tortiose" on the package?

So I rescued a russian tortoise this year, and he has been not eating for the last few months (we have been seeing a vet of course! trying to keep this review short 😅)I wanted to try out this product because of good nutritional value and lower protein percentage which was ideal to me.My russian tortoise really likes this supplement and is eating greens more frequently now! When he smells it, he getsmore motivated to eat which is so refreshing for me to see after months of difficulty.The supplement is a fine powder that is a great texture and size for dusting his greens with.I would recommend trying this product if your tortoise is refusing to eat or if you’re just in need of a good supplement

I got this for my Sulcata tortoise Bean a while back. I was worried he might not be getting enough nutrients because I could only ever feed him grass or maybe some rose and hibiscus flowers and leaves but all those quickly became an option no longer when the Arizona summer hit and made a BBQ out of our roses and hibiscus and after I began to realize that our grass is NOT sanitary enough, with several dogs that constantly use it as their bathroom and the amount of chemicals used on it for weeds or cleaning up the dog smell, to be giving to the tortoise so I switched over to store bough leafy greens and some of this and it has worked wonders. I couldn’t help but laugh a little as well because the first time I put it on his food, he went to TOWN on that lettuce and would do a full blown tortle sprint over to his food bowl if I grab that packet. I would fully recommend it to others who feel they might not be giving their tortoise friends enough nutrients!
