Its very well made and is very effective and useful and can be generically used. I will definitely get this in different colors. The only thing I would recommend is that there should be like pictures or institutions on how to wrap the veil but other than that great product

I have two of these sniper veils, both of the same camo pattern (Italian camo). I’ve used them in cold weather having them rolled up around my neck like a regular scarf or when I am deployed into hot, humid Caribbean environments they make great shade draped over my boonie or around my neck, so they are good for a variety of climates. I’ve found them to be very durable. When it’s hot, I’ll typically soak one in a tub of cold water in the refrigerator before I go out for a hike and it helps very well with evaporative cooling. Mine are essentially odor free except for one time, which was my screwup. I accidentally left one wet at my cabin and didn’t have a chance to get back up there for about a month so when I retrieved it, it was pretty musty but a quick toss in the washer fixed that and there’s no residual odor. Also took one on our latest trip to Europe and rolled up it a very nice neck pillow on long flights. Very versatile product. Would buy again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Thought this was kind of dumb, and I was wrong. This will change your shape in the field. It will keep mosquitos out of your face. A must have for scouting.

Awesome color, although I wish the camouflage was on both sides, but it’ll work great regardless, especially for traveling when I need-Mesh cooling method-It’ll dry the next day-I can use by any means, other than wearing it on my neck.I’ve tried to try wear this like a headband since I get head sweat very quickly, and I don’t wanna wear a hat, but after many attempts, figuring out if it’ll work, I just gave up.Best method is on your neck or practicing jungle storm camouflaging (like the game “Tom Clancy’s ghost recon jungle storm”. lolCleaning methods before use and trying to wash off the coloring (just don’t run in the machine, or it will most likely get damaged)1) Wash in the shower with bar soap, scrub it very good, and hang dry, just make sure to wash soap off completely2) Try laundry stripping - Tide detergent (use the powder kind), arm and hammer super washing soda, and Borax (go on YouTube and see how they do it, better method then using washing machine)3) After trying one or the other for cleaning, wear around the neck for x amount of time, not too tight, but let your skin get used to itMy method if someone were to ask how, and what I would do differently1) Fold into a box2) Grab a corner and fold again3 ) When it becomes a triangle, wrap like a bandana4) Wrap around your neck like a shemagh. Like I said, not really meant for your head unless you want to. The excess material will dangle behind and probably irritate you, unless you know how to fold or tuck away the material.

Will make a good cover during the hot part of deer season.

It appears to be made very well. I haven't had an opportunity to try it out yet. The pics in the description show a two sided printed scarf vs. a single side printed scarf. Leading the buyer to believe this is double printed. It is not the double printed. It is only printed on one side. In all fairness, I don't see anywhere else that it says it's double printed. So, if you only need one sided print, it should do really well. I bought it for the double sided print.
