What size hole is needed to be drilled for the 2 inch Uniseal?

The 2 inch uniseal requires a 3 inch hole

This is supposed to create a watertight, but if I use this on a sump pump to prevent sewer gas from escaping, should I also use a sealant?

These work great. No extra sealant needed. Used mine on holding tank in boat. Perfect seal.

Would a 73mm (2-7/8") Hole Saw hole work for the 2" to 3" uniseal? (3" seems too loose)?

the pipe will force the seal into the 3" hole...try pushing the pipe in then see if you think its loose...use the hole size they recommend
