A good value for a 10g cord
If your looking for a regular heavy 10g cord this one will hold up. The reason it only got 4 stars is like most extension cords it tends to twist the more times you wind it up. Yes there is a proper way to loop up a an extension cord but this suckers a bit heavy to hold out at arms length at the end of each day and also take the time to loop it. YouTube video on how to do so and your cord won't twist. This cords gets used outside daily. The base get's wrapped around a pole and plugged in and from there its drug across lawn, through landscape, sometimes down a 40' slope with boulders and large concrete steps, while not recommended for safety reasons it has had to traverse an area with the sprinkler running. So thumbs up on durability. If you want the type of card that doesn't start to take on a memory when frequently wound your going to have to shell a bit more but if ready this review you new that. For the average person this is going to be a good by. The winding and memory is not as bad an issue like a cheap 100' 10 gauge regular orange cord experiences so I think you will be happy. In no way is my cord abused but I ask a lot out of it for the summer, so much so if I had to buy one each season I'd be okay doing so because the cord make me money. I haven't had it long but I can tell by the lack of wear and what it has already experienced the cord is in it for the long haul.Last I can not speak to the durability of the ends because they are always protected. Once I have the cord where the work is going to be done a short leader cord is connected and the connection doesn't get moved and it;'s always high and dry. So to be far the short leader cord gets all the abuse. 15'ft cords are a lot cheaper to replace. Now that you see how I utilize the cord and my expectations, you can determine if its a good cord for you based upon your intended use. It's not cold weather rated so no need to discuss that. Each option costs a bit more. I fit the cord to the use and consider it to be a good buy at this time. Should this cord not continue to hold up I will come back and re-review this post.

Solid quality, good value.
Solid quality cable. Good ends, I haven't cut this open, but it appears solid copper from what I can see through the see through connector. Runs the block heater on my truck without issues and the orange light is a nice reminder. Decent price and quality. Would buy again.

Really good cords for serious electrical needs.
Wonderful quality extension cord. I've purchased 5 over the years for various locations and they all work great. They don't seem to tangle at all, and are lengths stated.

Seems Durable and mine is Made in USA
I used this in August with a new 9 amp electric chainsaw and was thrilled with the performance. I wanted to prune some hard wood saplings which were growing like weeds below my hemlock π² trees. Very happy with my new saw. Light weight and it just cuts. Let the saw do the work, good advice. Be careful of the chain, cover it up when not in use, avoid hitting soil or trunks with soil in the bark. Fully lubricate the chain. Next will be trimming back an overgrown wild cherry π type tree that rubs on the garage roof in the wind. It has nice flowers πΈ but keeps growing back.I have used it with my 10 amp Kobalt string trimmer and it works great. Iβm glad to have the strength and visibility this cord is made with. Yep it gets snagged often in this use and is more heavy than a vacuum cleaner cord but it is to be expected.Versus other cordless equipment, no worries Less noise and vibration. Just watch for snags and wind up carefully for storage.
