Can this scale be used to weight people on a wheelchair?

You could put a large enough piece of plywood on the scale, zero/ tare the scale, then put the wheelchair on top. Large enough platform and no dents.

Does anyone know if this scale's auto off setting can be adjusted on time or even turned off entirely? My current scale auto offs at 2 minutes

Mine never turns off, I did not have to change any settings.
