You may have to zoom in to the front porch on the right side of the door to view the sign, but it shows up well up close. At night, it is amazingly bright and the number show clearly. The price was good and though it blew off the porch in one of our storms, it was still in one piece so I used a sturdier method to attach it to the house. No assembly is needed other than sticking the numbers on the front and those are included as well as a spacer.

This thing is bright and works great. I had another brand solar address in the past. This one is so much better. Brighter, charges perfectly and the numbers are easy to read. I'd buy it again.

Bought this to replace the sticky numbers on my dads mailbox. He got a new mailbox so we attached this to the front of his house! Easy to see from the street to find his house number now!

It's been installed for over a month and so far it's working great and I like the look of it and I like that it's lit so the numbers can be seen at night.

This is perfect, easy to install and is easily read from the road! Hope it lasts as I highly recommend this item!!

Even with good exposure to full sun, light does not stay on for more then a few hours. On an overcast day, with bright diffuse light, it may not come on at all. Would not buy it again.Updated review: Thie item was installed in late December around the Winter Solsice, the shortest day of the year. It is in a location where, on a sunny day, it is in full sunlight most of the daylight hours. It has now been in use over 30 days with varying weather from sunny all day (about 8 hours at latitude 37.5degrees North) to cloudy and rainy. On rainy days, it only lasts about 1.5-2hr after sunset (I can see it on a surveillance cam). On sunny days it has lasted 7-8 hours after sunset. It's not unusual for deliveries (USPS, UPS, FedEx, Amazon) to be made after dark, sometimes as late as 10PM, 5 hours after dark in winter which is why it was purchased. The LED lights do provide excellent lighting of the numbers and are quite bright. It is also nice that one can select the color temperature of the lights. The device might benefit from a larger battery capacity or a switch to allow selecting 30% or 50% brightness, thus extending the lighted time after dark. After my initial review, the vendor promptly offered a refund which I did not ask for and I do not plan to accept as the price was quite reasonable. I do plan to keep the device. The design works well with the building on which it is installed. The only real issue is the short duration of light on rainy or overcast days without direct sunlight for most of the daylight hours. I will raise my review to 3 stars, but with the caution that it really needs full direct sunlight to achieve the duration of ight mentioned in the specifications.
