Good product
I like this a lot , ok its just a roller and they are never easy to clean , but its slightly smaller than the normal rollers so easy to use , particularly if your applying a heavy stippled finish. The wing nut and end cap come off which means that you can easily slide out the roller sleeve rather catapulting paint when removing off the roller itself. The inner tube also slides out . Good product overall.

Unpredictable
With care gives an ok finish. Tendency to fall apart at inconvenient moments like at the top of a step ladder with a bucket of paint in your other hand. Nut holding it together now somewhere in bucket of paint.

Bad rollers
Very poor! After using them for 1/2 hour they started to fall apart and bits came off and stuck to wall!

Need for a textured roller
Have not used yet but this roller is sturdy and looks exactly what I need to mend a textured wall. The price was excellent and as soon as I get paint I will use.. it arrived quickly to time and was very well packaged. Am looking forward to using to good effect?

Poor quality.
Part way through an application to my ceiling, the roller broke away from the inner sleeve. This made it useless to use.

Fell apart on first use.
Pretty useless and made the job much harder than it needed to be. The nut holding the roller on pinged off and was lost within the first 2 minutes. After finding a replacement nut and continuing the roller started to slide around the roller handle because there is no core in the sponge roller, eventually sliding off the nut at the end. I'm the end I cut open the sponge and wrapped it around an existing roller to finish off the job.

Easy to use, seamlessly blended with existing texture
My main question beforehand was what pattern would it produce (and would it match my existing texture). The attached photo was achieved using Artex powder mixed according to instructions (700ml water to every kg powder) and painted straight on. Very easy to use. Unlike other reviewers, had no problem with the robustness, although to be fair I was only trying to cover one replacement ceiling plasterboard to match the existing texture work. Worked like a treat (although there is a lot of splatter, so use plenty of painting sheets)
