Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this product because it promised a countdown clock. It does let you do one countdown, but it doesn't recognize my zip code and therefore any weather or air quality benefit doesn't apply. It also doesn't turn off and on according to the sleep clock, and has to reconnect with the MAC address every time it's shut off. The lowest brightness is still very bright.

It is very easy to use and easy to setup. Everything is well documented so I had it up and running in no time. I really like that you can choose from 3 profiles. I have one for myself and one I can set when people visit. It gets firmware updates automatically and is very solid and doesn't glitch or freeze up! It's really nice how easy it is to also change the time it spends on each screen. It is set to 3 seconds but has many choices. I'm purchasing another one for the man cave. I assume I won't have issues with two running on the same internet, but will come back and update if I do.

UPDATE: I spoke with Tara on the live chat on the Glance website. First, it was after service hours so I expected an email reply the next day. Tara responded to me immediately. She advised that the issue with the TikTok connection has to do with TikTok API being discontinued. Their developers are currently working on a workaround. Overall this is still a great product and I was impressed with the fast, friendly response that I got.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This product was easy to set up out of the box. Plug it in to an electrical outlet, open up the WiFi network on your phone, and follow the steps in the included startup card. This alone is 5-star worthy. When they tell you you'll be up and running in under two minutes, they mean it.The device itself is lightweight, has the ability to adjust the display brightness, and works very well. The power button at the top of the device is made of metal and I do not envision it breaking at any point, the same way a plastic or silicone button might. The power cord is a bit short, but that's nothing an extension cord couldn't handle.I subtracted one star because the device isn't as customizable as they make it sound. If you're a sports enthusiast or a stockbroker, then this is the device for you. Sports scores with cool team graphics show up as soon as set up is complete. But that's not what I bought this device for, so I turned those two functions off. I bought this product for displaying follower counts across multiple social media platforms. Unfortunately the only social media platforms currently supported are YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. And unfortunately, despite double checking the username, the TikTok follower and playback counts remain at zero. I haven't been able to correct this yet, but I'll reach out to support during their business hours.The other apps are pretty cool - weather, world news, trivia, word of the day, etc. are all great additions to this device. But be aware that your ability to customize those portions of the device are limited.Overall, this is a fun device to have and I plan to keep it. But additional social media platforms, and more customization abilities would earn this device five stars. I'd love to see the ability to add pixel art or more customization for the existing apps added.

I couldn't be happier. It works as advertised and as expected. There's some key points that really pushed me to come give a review. For one, the developer has responded quickly to suggestions and improvements and has actively added them to a live trello board that customers can view of updates. There's support for quite a long list of crypto projects surprisingly, and a lot of side features that make it really feel worth every penny.The live web panel makes customizing the board easy, and viewing the updates to come I know it's only going to get better. As other panels that can display stocks and crypto go for 5 times this price or more, I thought I was going to have a "get what you pay for" moment... but I took a chance and it just works. Setup took about 10 minutes following their web instructions, and the device has dependably worked for a month now.If you're an investor of stocks or crypto, this is an affordable and wonderful addition to my work desk.
