Castor Oil Shampoo Bars - Hydrating & Moisturizing Natural Soap for Hair Growth | 3.5oz

This was my second time purchase. I really love this shampoo bar. Rinses away quickly (saving water!) I don't even use a conditioner after using this soap (no need!). The smell is great, too, it's so refreshing. I have thick hair with a greasy scalp but this soap works for my condition. I also feel good about not buying plastic bottles. Highly recommend it.

Let me start by saying I first purchased this shampoo bar back in February. I was going through postpartum and wanted to find solutions to slow down my hair shed. This shampoo bar smells so lovely, it has a very soft lemon scent. The hydration level in this product is so good, you will literally feel your hair being moisturized mid shampooing. I’ve tried so many other shampoos and I always end up adding this back into my routine 11 months later (my shampoo bar is only halfway gone). I have high porosity type 4 hair. I feel this is important to say in my review because just like low porosity here, high porosity also struggles with moisture retention as well. If you struggle with moisture loss/retention, hair loss, hair shed, or thin density, please add this into your routine, but I must warn you not to use this as your first shampoo. You will need to clarify your scalp and hair strands first. Once you have a clean canvas to work with. That is when you will go in with something like this. My hair shed is so minimal now. I recommend this shampoo to everyone!!

I am on my 2nd bar of this shampoo. I wash my hair 2x a week. One bar lasted 2 months. Within 2 weeks I stopped losing my hair. It leaves my hair soft and also has relieved the itching on my head. It suds up very quickly so that all your hair is covered. I have long hair. Highly recommend. Great deal for my hair and my budget.

Lasts longer than several bottles of shampoo. Nice lather, cleans well, I use it as a whole body wash and use it for travel. I could probably also wash my shirts with it in the bathroom sink. The Duke Cannon puck has a nicer scent.

In my opinion, this is the best bar shampoo I have ever tried and I’ve tried them all. I am Caucasian and have wavy semi course hair. It frizzes easily and has the potential to dry out and become unruly. This bar soap is like a shampoo and conditioner in one. I left my hair feeling clean and moisturized, but not over oily. I just love this product. Highly recommend.

It smelled nice and lathered up well, however it leaves a messy green residue in the soap dish, and on the washcloth.

Subtle scent, simple ingredients. Stop using the traditional "chemical dump" with bottle liquid shampoo and switch to the simplicity of the bar... The results are great! No heavy chemicals or residue that irritates scalp, soft hair, great shine with a nice thick lather that simply works.
