July 2025 (update): I received a message from the sender 3 days after my original review. They were apologetic and let me know my satisfaction was important to them and that they would work to resolve the issue. They sent me a new package of newly designed salt packets that could be torn open without the need for scissors. I attached a picture of the before and after packets.I'm very impressed with the way they quickly addressed my concern. They owned the fact that the original packaging design was not good and resolved the defect with a newly designed packet. I updated my rating from 3 stars to 5. I'm very pleased to see this kind of customer service.June 2025 (original review): I gave this item 3 stars because you have to use scissors to open the salt packet. The salt works fine, it's just the packaging. This makes it hard to use these when I travel. I don't usually carry scissors around with me. I could buy a small pair just for this, but it's annoying that I would even need to do that.

Really good and dissolves quickly. Easy to use, just tear it open and put in the netipot.

Super convenient at a good price. Tough to tear open but using a scissors is a better, albeit more cumbersome alternative.

These are great. I love being able to tear them open rather than having to use the scissors to cut open them. The salt packets are effective and very easy to use. I have the neti made by this company and I'm very happy with it.

blue packets that i originally ordered are very difficult to tear open. new green packets are redesigned to tear open easily .without even asking, the seller sent me a second order with the new designed easy open green packs. Excellent customer service! been using the product for several days now after a nasal surgery and to my surprise the salt doesnt burn like i expected and dissolves within seconds in filtered water warmed for 15 seconds in microwave to about body temp. I warm the water prior to adding product.Thank you again for the excellent customer service and the great product reasonably priced.

Unlike other packets I've used, these don't just tear open, you need scissors to open. Some packets are fine, others seem like the mix is off and it ends up burning my nose and leaving an uncomfortable sting. Leaves a noticeable scent behind after use which isn't terrible but I dislike it.
