Wow I got amazing bass now !!
Absolutely amazing and works a treat on my Stanton turntable. The bass is something else, infact out of this world. The clarity is brilliant as well!! Thanks Concorde and Amazon !!

Vast sound improvement
I was using an Audio Technica 'red' stylus, which disappointingly for the price, lost its flair fairly quickly. This Concord (black) works better on a 2.0 gram setting and has a really balanced reproduction across the EQ range. I'm pleased.

Conical, but not comical...
While it's not an upgrade from the default VM95E cartridge I had in my Audio Technica AT-LP120X, it does play the older records I have in my collection better, due to it being a conical design. You do lose some clarity in the high end, but there is more low end. While the low end isn't clear, it's big and makes dance and drum and bass records fun to listen to.It was easy to install - just push it onto the tone arm, screw it in place, rebalance it and you're good to go.It says the tracking force is 3 to 4g which sounds like a lot, but remember that it's a conical stylus. Less of the needle is making contact with the grooves so it requires a higher force to keep the needle from jumping out of the grooves. If you have older records, perhaps ones which skip while you are playing them with an elliptical stylus, a conical styles might play it better. It also won't wear out the grooves as fast as an elliptical stylus.

Decent sound range but missing some bass..
Brought this thinking it would be a good comparison to my Ortofon cartridge, it's close in sound range but lack some of the punchy bass I come to expect from my cartridges. So for me, I should've spent my money on my tried and tested cartridge. Verdict, good but not quite good enough (in my opinion).

Blows a audio technica top stylus on xp range out the water its that good.
I would just be carfull with the amout of grams as states 5grams tops but lucky if i use 1.8 grams saves ware and if properly calibrated it has a wonderfull sound 8mv on the vibe red eliptical and fits most turntables with s shaped arm. Also sealed packed when you get it holographic security tabs ! Also dont be to concerned about wire arangement inside as long as the positive and negative are the same as in normal cartridge has 4 conectors for lead wires it will work if left and right channels are reversed but must be positive to positve and negetive to negitive. it will just reverse channels from right to left visa versa. Hope this helps. May i add i cant justify how audio technica can charge the amout it does for the xp7 when ortofon can give you this for far less. Thanks again.
