Superb product! The best!
I bought this product to improve my digestion and to improve my gut flora. I have tried others before it that didn't really hit the spot. This one is delicious and I consider it good value for money because it is handmade with care - a genuine sauerkraut made the traditional way, unpasteurised (which is so important if you are taking it to improve your health). I will definitely be buying this one from now on - I know I won't find a better product out there!

The best sauerkraut I've ever put in my mouth
This is some tangy sauerkraut. I mean, TANGY. It's almost like crunchy cider. When you eat it with a sandwich it makes you feel alive, transcendent, like you've just eaten something that let's you see into the future. I will keep reordering this until the world's kraut sources have run dry.

Love This
I started buying this because I wanted to start eating food that would benefit my gut flora. I lived in Germany for many years and they would always tell me how healthy sauerkraut was ... I really liked it too. I would never compare the price of this product with supermarket suaerkraut because it is just not the same product, or anywhere close to it. That would be like comparing a glass of milk with a glass of wine! The supermarket brands do not have the live bacteria. I have tried other brands of fermented sauerkraut but this is by the the best, I love the taste. I did try to make my own about a year ago but that idea went in the bin ... together with the sauerkraut. So will always buy from this company now. I have just ordered the Kimchi of which I am yet to try.

Perhaps my jar is suffering from cost of living crisis
I was eager to try this when received. I had ordered this and the Beetroot one. I bought it on the strength of the reviews and that the salt content was 1%. I followed the instructions to open it over the sink. I need not have bothered. There was no hiss, no fizz, no seeping of liquid. Chopped white cabbage that was very white and uncovered greeted me when I first opened it. I teased out a good tablespoonful using a fork as yes it was packed tightly. But there it ended. The cabbage itself was difficult to chew. There was no tangy taste as per other reviews, in fact it tastes of very little, if anything. It does not seem as if fermented at all. It certainly is not like saukraut I've eaten in the past when I could not stop eating it. I used to add a spoonful to bagels and other sandwich type meals to enhance whatever. The jar is sitting in the fridge and quite honestly unless the flavour improves then it will be an arduous task eating it up as it is. Already I am thinking of chucking some in some of the homemade soups I make to bulk out the soups. - Rather an expensive way to buy cabbage. I truly hope that the Beetroot one will satisfy my tastebuds.

An Artisan's Sauerkraut
I thought I'd give this sauerkraut a try, although thinking it's quite expensive. This 'kraut is delicious, crunchy, zingy, beautifully shredded and nothing like the pasteurised products of supermarkets. Also, the actual quantity is greater than I expected. After trying the 'kraut I think the price is fair and the product exceptional.Arrived in a timely manner and very well packaged.

Very nice sauerkraut
I have been making my own sauerkraut, which is obviously a lot cheaper, price of a cabbage and some salt but it does take a long time to ferment. When I saw that I could get raw unpasteurised ready made sauerkraut thought I would try it. It is definitely very nice sauerkraut, price wise it is quite expensive but as I don’t have to have a big pot of fizzing smelly cabbage in my cupboard for 5 weeks I think it is maybe worth it.

Beautiful!
Delicious authentic sauerkraut! After having multiple intolerances for a couple of years I have a very restricted diet, not even being able to tolerate vegetables or pro/prebiotics. I have quite severe reactions when I reintroduce food so I tried just 2 teaspoons of this amazing sauerkraut a day for a week not knowing how it would affect me. I am delighted to say not only have I kept it down, it has made my body feel alive again! Also it is so tasty I could easily eat the whole jar haha! Thank you so much!!

Tastes like home
The jar arrived today and it was very well packed, no leaks. I liked that there was a warning that you can't miss to open the jar over a sink to make sure it doesn't leak all over the floor when you first open it. The taste is amazing! I used to eat sauerkraut a lot when I was a child, it was a staple on the table. And this just took me right back to those times. The taste and smell is exactly like when you get a fresh one from the market in some countries. I can't wait to have some more with my lunch.
