Works as described
Strong magnet , consistently works as described. Quality item from a quality brand .

Used for a few weeks
The construction is solid. The I.D holder is made for vertical badges however I don’t mind. The clip can be used on a front pocket or the hip. If you have to swipe to clock in, removing the badge from the I.D. holder is cumbersome so I just disconnect it from the clip and it becomes easier. Scanning the I.D. is a breeze as all you have to do I disconnect and scan then reconnect. Yes, badge reels are easier however they break all the time. This alleviates that issue. A few people asked me about it already which proves that is an interesting badge solution. It also has a few card slots on the rear for cards with extensions, etc. the click of the magnet is satisfying. Very good alpaka!

Everything went together well. Looks nice. It's held by a clip, so you can take it off & attach it to you.

Quick detach magnet is super useful
So far I'm enjoying this card holder. I spend a lot of time at a datacenter which requires a lot of badging in and out of doors/cages and being able to quickly detach, badge, and reattach is super useful. First alpaka product so far and I'm very impressed with the build quality. If anything does happen, I'll update the review.Cheers,M

Great Clip/Hub System, Not So Sure About Durability and Price Tag.
The Hub system is a great little set up for all the Alpaka Gear. This card holder however doesn't have that same quality feeling as any sling, bag or even strap accessory that Alpaka makes. The instructions to attach the clip to the actual rig is difficult to follow as the illustration and actual physical steps to get it to work is different. Maybe having a video tutorial would be helpful than written/diagramed instructions. The material of the holder itself feels flimsy, especially the unfinished clear window for the main ID. It's almost like any little snag could rip it or at least damage the edges/springness of the plastic to hold onto the Card inside. I don't know how durable it will be for those that have RFID cards and hang off your waist, the dangling could breakdown the material around the metal ring clip. Overall a good system but the materials don't feel up to par with the rest of Alpaka's gear.
