finally an H E A
So this review has spoilers, sorry , but after reading 10 books and becoming engrossed in all 8 main characters and a host of secondary characters and extras it’s hard to hold back. I read the synopsis of the very end prior to reading on after book 6 because it’s hard to read such violence. Fortunately there is laugh out-loud humor in every book. Seth just is sweet and funny and like a golden retriever puppy when he shows his true self. Caleb is logical and warm and caring and the calm to Seth. Orion and Darcy suffered so much through all the books that they so deserved a happy ever after. Then there is Darias and Tory whose violent natures ensnared each other. Everyone made mistakes along the story, but grew in wisdom and physical strength. The war was harrowing, scary to read and devastating with the losses of family and friends. The end of the war was triumphant and the death of Lionel poignant, appropriate and validating. The years following the war were filled with joyous events, births and emergences. It soothes the soul after all the traumas they all experienced. I did enjoy the series. There were parts that weren’t needed. It was very long and could have been better edited. But all in all I’m glad I persevered through it. So if you’d read 9 books this one is worth persevering through to get to the happy.

finally done.
I’m not sure what to do with myself after dedicating the last however many months to finishing this series. Kind of like how Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac ended, there wasn’t as much death as I expected there to be. Nothing like how JK Rowling ripped my heart apart as a teenager.Would I read it all again, though?Yes.

Wonderful
I am so happy to have read this series and so sad to be leaving this world, these characters. This Book was an amazing wrap-up to an amazing series and I'm going to miss it. I hope to see some more Solaria in my future. As for this Book specifically, I enjoyed the wrap-up of the War, the relationships, the Epilogues. It was all fun and I wish there was more.Goodbye for now Solaria.

Masterpiece!
After a few books of relentless filler... I would reread them all again for this one.I cried so many times during this book.Justin dying for some reason hit me so hard, I had to put it down for 2 days. I SOBBED openly and couldn't get out of my funk for a while.I knew something better had to be coming so I took a deep breath and barreled on.They said it wouldn't feel like enough when this whole journey was over. And they're right.... how do we say goodbye?

Epic... seriously epic...
Holy moly... all I can say is this is an EPIC story of enemies to friends, rebellion, war, LOVE, loss, friendship, and magic.I just binged every one of these 9 books and was gloriously gifted with a true feeling of love, light, magic and friendship in a supernatural world.Thank you Lady Authors for making this all come true in my mind.KHurley

Happy, but frustrating ending.
I was a huge fan of the sister authors at the very beginning of this series. I was part of their official Facebook group before it even reached 2,000 members. The beginning story line had me hooked. I couldn’t wait until the next book came out. Every single time I devoured the books. Until book six. I started slowing down then. I still read each book within a few weeks of it being published but I no longer feel the immediate need to know what happens. To be frank, I began to dread what was actually going to happen. I can finally say that I’m relieved it’s over.I am a fast reader and can devour a book in one day. This book took me close to a month to read due to loss of interest, unnecessary chapters and filler information, plots and characters that went nowhere, and the disaster that is the last three books. It truly felt like they were trying to jam a ton of poorly thought out ideas into three books - none of which made any sense whatsoever including Clyde - who was easier to defeat than they let on, and Lyra - why was she even mentioned, let alone given her own chapters???The more I think about and have time to reflect on this book and series, the more angry and frustrated I get at the build up of things, the “resolution” of some situations, the length of time this book took to come out, and some of the unnecessary chapters and POVs.As normal, this one picks ups where the last book left off. Everyone is reveling in the fact that Darius is back and the group is whole. There are a great many chapters that detail and over explain many scenes that probably could have been skipped over, and there are a few things that are surprises reminiscent of Aelin from TOG (known for plans made in secrecy and whipping them out without her group knowing it), that just appeared with absolutely no lead up to the fact that it would be a possibility. There are also some things that made me question Tory and wonder where the eff she had all this time and energy to do certain things and make gifts and plot and keep going and have all the spicy scenes she did.Without getting into the detailed chaos that is this book, it was a decent read and well written. All of our primary characters live and live happily ever after. We get to see the defeat of all the villains - even if the lead up to it and the actual defeat were let downs. We also get to see the mating, marriages, and babies of our favorite characters. I will say that I wish we got to see how the kingdom changed under the twins rule and how they were as rulers - instead of just the family and babies we see.

Mostly redeemed!
Okay, you two have mostly redeemed yourselves from the immeasurable horrors of Lionel. Although, I think everyone should have been able to “beat” him before he died as well as after!!! His death was too easy.I still struggled to get through the rough parts and almost DNF’d this book several times. Please learn not to go too far. I think you went too far many, many times in these books.Thank you for all the insights afterwards on their families though with the names, I’m not sure if all Tory’s kids are boys or not. Please do NOT introduce another villain for this series, I just cannot do it! I’m done. Thanks again though.

Beyond perfect!!
The absolute perfect ending to one of the greatest series I've ever read! This book was amazing from start to finish. Action packed and had me clinging to my seat as well as kicking my feet with each new page. The banter somehow is even better than all the other books. There were so many pov's that all added to the experience. I already wish I could read it again for the first time. On to Darkmore Penitentiary!
