i've been taking D-Mannose for several years and it is valuable in preventing UTI's. no side effects.

Will prevent a uti, 2 before bed time, will not cure an active infection. It prevents bacteria from binding to the bladder. If you have an active infection, take 2 every 3 hours until you get your antibiotics. The pain will minimize but will not cure. Can also take pelo de elote and cola de cabal teas like the indigenous people do for uti.***take 2 in the morning while on your antibiotics and 2 at night**. Finish your course of antibiotics and continue 2 daily .
