This fan is fan-tastic if you pardon the pun! Genuinely its quality is great, sturdy and doesn't move around loads when its on. The look and style of it is brilliant and the fan power is amazing for such a small form factor fan.It can swivel on both the X and Y axis meaning the airflow around the room is really good. In addition its angles of operation are also much greater than a traditional standing fan. The DREO app means you can control this to specific angle ranges (i.e. 45, 90,60 etc.) to maximise airflow instead of wasting energy with the fan pointing in the wrong direction.It is very quiet when operating in fan speeds 1-3, and then gets a little louder each time going through 4-8 which makes it perfect for when your asleep with the fan on on a hot evening in the UK! I like the timer settings also, this means it can be on a bit while you drift off to sleep then it will automatically turn off avoiding drying out your throat in the night.Overall, while expensive for a fan with the added Alexa integration, compact size, power of the fan as low speeds and pretty silent operation I think it was a good purchase and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Excuse my cat meowing in the background - she loves this fan too!My bedroom is the loft which gets very hot during summer. Air con was a no due expense for the few heatwaves we get in the UK and the difficulty of hose placement in a skylight window. I looked at air coolers but the faff of filling them with water and maintenance started to make me yawn just looking at them. I wanted something that instantly cools and I can use straight away getting home from work late at night.I initially looked at Shark but this Dreo air circulator came up and the reviews on how quiet it is compared to to Shark are what drew me in. I read a lot of reviews and decided to buy.I love it. The app is super cool! You can set schedules for it to come on and switch off when you’re not home (up to 10 schedule). You can fine tune each schedule to choose fan speed and oscillation and also the light if you wish. There is an auto mode that you can use as a thermostat.The Dreo is super quiet. On the lowest modes you wouldn’t even know it’s on except for the fact it’s keeping you cool.I also love how aesthetically pleasing it is to look at. It’s not imposing or ugly.Really happy with this purchase. We are due a heatwave tomorrow so I am happy that I will be getting a comfortable sleep instead of feeling like I’ve been sent to live in a deep fat fryer in the abyss of hell hahaFurther info on owning this fan for 2 weeks during the heatwave. I LOVE it. So I honestly advise if getting a Dreo fan you get one you can control with phone app as that is where you discover all its capabilities and how you can fine tune it to your needs. I’ve set a favourite setting for example so that I can open my skylight window wide at night when the air is cooler and have the fans oscillation settings so it draws air from outside and circulates it round my room. I just did this and within 15 minutes the temp has dropped by 3 degrees. I no longer feel that oppressive still heat when going upstairs to my loft bedroom. It’s moving air around and once you figure out how to fine tune the oscillation settings it’s a game changer.Best money I’ve spent in a long time.

I'm over the moon about this fan. It's powerful yet quiet and the app works perfectly (via iPhone & iPad for me), allowing customisable oscillation, which is a gamechanger. It's also sturdy with a nice, heavy base, and has a very small footprint for a pedestal fan. I've only had it for a week, but this fan has proved to be flawless.Prior to purchase I saw some reviews which claimed it's made of cheap plastic, but it's literally the same exact plastic from which significantly more expensive Dyson fans are made. I have a Dyson Cool tower fan, but now I'm a total convert to Dreo because this fan is so much more effective and capable at less than half the cost. It's also quieter as well.I'm THIS close to buying another one of these already. This thing is fantastic.

The Dreo 40-inch smart fan has been an absolute lifesaver this summer! I’ve survived thanks so much thanks to how powerful and efficient it is. The smart features are sooo cool, especially being able to ask Google to turn it on or off at night. The app is fantastic, with a crazy amount of adjustment options.Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever been happier with a purchase. The styling looks way more premium than its price, and I even grabbed the smaller version for my desk because it’s that good. The remote is a nice bonus too, perfect for guests who need to control the fan overnight. I’d recommend Dreo to anyone after trying this, brilliant product!

The Dreo fans are really good. The fans pack a punch beyond their size and are quiet. The app works very well and they look nice and modern, although they are plastic, though they look metal and wood in the picture. The light on this model is not very bright, it really is only ambient, so I would suggest that you save your money and buy the fan without the light.

Power:Lots of power, rarely need it fully turned up high.Cooling effect:with the way it oscillates the cooling effect is really good, and perfect for the bedroom as really quiet.Ease of installation:Lierally works straight out the box. Download the Dreo app, connect to WiFi and off you go! Would I recommend? Absolutely yes, the fact it connects and works through Alexa makes this such great value over the cheaper fans. This is our 3rd Dreo fan.
