Nice tablet, great price
This is a great little 8.7" tablet! It has a clear, bright OLED screen. No fingerprint detection, but it does do face recognition fairly well as well as PIN.It connected to my wi-fi easily and was upgradable to Android 15 without any trouble. I activated a new number on Boost Mobile with it with zero issues, and it is working well on 4G-LTE when out of wi-fi range. There are plenty of good cases out there for it at reasonable prices- either lightweight +/- BT keyboard, or heavier rugged cases. It did come with an unmarked USB-C charger packed in the plastic bag, outside of the sealed box.The unit is a non-USA model. Mine is actually an Africa model, at least according to the sealed box it came in. That means no USA warranty, I suspect. If that bothers you, get a 3rd-party warranty for it. The IMEI and serial bar codes on the box were over-written with blue marker pen, yet these were the codes belonging to the actual device. The IMEI registered fine with Boost Mobile (Dish Network) as usable with their network as a phone and tablet. Mint, a T-Mobile based MVNO showed non-compatible for use as a phone, as indicated in the description.Very happy with it so far. Battery life is good, screen is great.

Great Compact Tablet
Great tablet. The size is great, easy to pack away, and it's light. The Screen quality is very good for the price, no lagging and it boots up fast. Cell service on it works very well after working out some issues. On US Mobile the Dark Star network (ATT) it has data and texting only, no phone calls. This was found after extensive work with the US Mobile customer service to attempt to get calls to work. To get the calling to work I changed over to the US Mobile Warp network (VZN) even though they said it might not work. Calls, text and data work great with only missing the WIFI calling ability. It's a bit big for a primary everyday phone, as a backup line and very useful tablet it's a big winner for the price.

Great tablet!! Not VZW compatible
So, I wanted something smaller as this will be mainly for work. I need something easy to carry on a warehouse floor and watch shows or movies on the plane that wasn't as small as a phone or as big as a laptop. This fit the bill.Great construction, light weight, and fast processing. I downloaded 4 apps at once and they were all done in less than 90 sec. I also downloaded some shows over my hotspot connection, and it sped right through them!My only con is that when I tried to add a line on my VZW plan, they said it's not compatible with their network. Yes, I read the description before I bought it, and it says it works in the US with the major 3 networks. I even tried putting a VZW SIM card from an older tablet (I bought from them) in it and still won't activate.(They did say they would try to get it added so I could put a data plan on in. If they figure that out, I'll update the subject in my review)Wi-fi connection works great and, in the meantime, I can use my phone hotspot to connect.I also love that it is S-Pen compatible. I am a note taker, so this function on a smaller tablet is great! I also have an S7+ (tablet) and it can get a bit awkward taking notes with it if you're not at a desk or table. All in all, great tablet, I don't regret getting it.

Great mini tablet for on Home or On The Go
I have 2 of the A9+ 11" wi-fi tablets for my home, but this is perfect to set up with my mobile carrier for on-the-go use for me (or even better, Kid's YouTube). Highly recommend. The usual outstanding Samsung quality for a good price.

Faster than my A8; works with T-mobile
This is faster than my old A8. I had to choose a country and language. Once updated, I added my T-Mobile SIM and made a phone call. It worked.Be aware, many cases do not have a cutout for the cell phone ear speaker (you can hold this to your head and make a phone call like a phone).

Great product, confusing details.
New in box. Arrived in one day. The only downside is the top line of description says "15w fast charger," the "In the box" section says "15w fast charger," but it's product details specifically say it doesn't come with a charger. It only came with a charging cable (USB-C to USB-C) but no charging block. There isn't a spot for one in the box, so you'll need to order one, too. Just a little confusing. But typical Samsung quality from what I've seen in a few years of use. This is a replacement for my old Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.4.

Never buying a Samsung device again. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Complete scam
I would leave 0 stars if I could. It stopped charging after only a month of usage and Samsung says I voided the warranty by using a non original charger. Mind you the charger they claim voided the warranty I've had for years and charged Motorola, Dell, Google, Steam, and many other devices. It lasted just long enough to not be returnable. Now Samsung says the only way to even assess if it might be covered under warranty is to take it to a shop 5 hours away on a weekday for them to try to charge it with an original Samsung charger and even if it doesn't work they might charge me for repairs since we used a non original charger.

A good purchase
I needed a smaller tablet for reading of books, graphic novels and general media and it fits the bill is size and portability. I can hotspot with no issue, it picks up wi-fi signals easily and mobile data well. The tablet is well made. I would recommend for someone needing a non wi-fi only tablet. Perhaps the only downside for those who like jotting down notes, I haven't found a pen to work on. The charging time once fully drained my require patience, but once fully charged it last a full day.
