Simple but effective
This book does a great job at helping you understand the fret part better, with some simple hints and tips at how to locate each note on the guitar. In the back there are some exercises you can do to help your note location.Overall the book is great however the format seems too simple in places and the games in the back can be hard to follow. I assure you, you will need longer than 24 hours to full memorise the fretboard, but this book does help.Good purchase overall, but lacking in places to get 5 stars

Does the job
An easy read, no filler, not too heavy on the theoretical side but covers everything that you need to know to learn the fretboard. I watched a few YouTube videos first so had a decent idea going in of what to expect. But this book is definitely the way to go to learn in a more methodical way. A surprisingly easy task to learn the fretboard so the book lives up to its title.

Unlocking the unfathomable
Concise, authoritative and illuminating book. The author makes what could be a boring chore more interesting to grasp. I found this book very useful so thank you so much.

Very easy methods
This is a very simple book that works. I am dyslexic and struggle with standard memory tricks so did not expect to be able to recall the notes in real time, and I can't, yet. But after a single day my recall has sped up a 100 fold. It also showed me I knew much more than I thought (wish I spotted the book years ago) but the real gem is the claw technique worth every penny of the very few pennies you need to buy the book fo that alone. An unexpected side effect was it helped me visualise and therefore understand how major and minor chords are constructed.

A necessity for a Beginner
I am a complete beginner in my guitar journey and I was very sceptical about buying this as I’m not very good at understanding things from reading as I’m more of a visual kind of learner (YouTube) but I’ve gotten half way through this book and I’ve gone from knowing nothing about the fretboard to having a basic understanding of how the fretboard works and It feels so satisfying for me to accomplish this. I read through the book in small chunks to get a better understanding and even after reading a section I would go and mull it over like test myself without the book in front of me to see if I was correct, I’m not afraid to say I did go back into the book to check my answers. Don’t get me wrong I still have to think about where notes are on the fretboard but I’m sure after using the guitar more I will become more fluent.Overall I would highly recommend this book to a complete beginner who is interested in knowing and learning more into their guitar journey.
