The manual says that the life of this machine is five years. There are other better machines available as well. Don't rush to buy this one.

What are the choices of brew size? Will it make a small concentrated single shot as well as a tall Americano?

This is very good to make small single or double shot concentrated Black Coffee and best suited to make excellent tradional South Indian filter Coffee. If you want tall Americans, better opt for other normal coffee makers which may be cheaper too.

No. This is not a heavy duty machine that can be used for commercial purpose.
