The book is very well written! The information is a very “Good To Know”. If nothing else … it will give you a list of what foods to always keep on hand. We failed miserably. I doubt anything is coming our direction and if wrong, I would guess it is someone that is known by millions plus already has had plans for years. I am a believer of most faiths coming together to show how life can be one of many faith’s and customs. not a silent war on the population which would be a losing battle with the masses. Just random thoughts, but I am not schooled in these matters and my goal is peace unity, and vote for those their chosen candidates. I hope they will follow the people’s wishes that elected them!Advice: great book for political meetings and luncheons or just discussions about how to prepare people for anything.

The media could not be loaded. Recently purchased for my husband whom makes it a priority to be prepared for anything. We have quite the setup already, but need so much more.This book has soooo much to offer. It's thoroughly detailed and there is a ton of information. It's worth the read and the knowledge for sure. I got the paperback and the price was great, especially for the knowledge it provides. Definitely can't go wrong.I was bummed though there was some damage to the cover. For being new and paying for it you want it to be perfect. However, things happen and it is just paperback.So many different topics and so much information in each. I suggest everyone has some sort of book on what to do and how to prepare.

Information is pretty good...not all will work for all people but will start you in a good direction

This is a very good book overall. It covers many of the topics that you would have to deal with if forced to hunker down and stay put in an emergency. I really liked the detail that the food storage section went into. What to store, how to store it and even where to store it. Although some of the food costs have changed since the writing of the book, the budgeting examples still apply. The extensive recipe list included in the book has suggestions for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even snacks and in my opinion they look pretty darn tasty. Other than food, it covers topics like water, home security and energy just to name a few. Even if you're not a "prepper" per se, this book can help you be prepared for hurricanes, tornadoes and any number of other natural disasters that may come your way. There is even a DIY section in the event of a SHTF scenario. You may not find that everything presented in this book will apply to your situation, but personally, I'd rather have it on hand and not need it then vice versa.

This is a GREAT book that addresses a subject that gets very little coverage. Those of us that are old, ill and/or infirm have no hope of bugging out. None. But this book is one of a very few to offer suggestions, tips and insights on how to prepare to stay home when SHTF. It could be a tornado or flood, it could be kooks and nutjobs burning and looting. But knowing how to protect yourself, with the proper equipment, knowledge and training could save your life.But don't just read it! DO SOMETHING! When seconds count, police are hours away... and the Govt is months away! This book offers step-by-step processes that you can do a bit at a time. But you have to do it!

Mr. Claude was very helpful! I ordered this book and did not receive it. I started a chat with him. He showed where it was delivered but after looking everywhere I could not find it. After I let him know he was so kind and sent me another copy! I am so excited to have this book. It has a lot of good information in it.
