This charcoal product performed very well. It was easy to light and produced excellent heat. I was able to salvage the unburned portion of the coals for another time. Definitely recommend this product.

Bought this for use in my Bincho Yakitori grill and it fits perfectly and lasts longer than other natural coals I’ve tried. The shape of the briquettes make it really easy to maintain a consistent and even heat source so you don’t end up with cold/hot spots. I don’t think I’ll be using anything other than Nomad coal moving forward.

This is great charcoal, but it is extremely hard and doesn't light easily. I think it's better to stand the sticks in a teepee form with a lot of paper beneath it in the chimney. It came with three little fiber starters but it wasn't enough.

Very disappointed to difficult to turn on

This stuff heats up nicely and burns MUCH longer than my traditional lump charcoal. Quite impressed!!

The media could not be loaded. No complaints on this product. We used these for a backyard summer time yakitori party. We used a 'rapid charcoal chimney' starter on a traditional grill first then placed these into the yakitori grills we had. Heat lasted for 2 hours. Enough to cook 5 lbs of beef skewers and 2 lbs of chicken thighs on skewers.

Burn time is really long, low ash. However it takes a while to fully light, and compare to real Bincho, the heat is much lower. So I think this is specifically for skewers. If you want to grill steak, this is not strong enough.
