Kamado Joe Classic Joe 18 inch, Charcoal Grill Cover in Black, Compatible with the Classic I, II and III

My 10 ye as Ts old Kamado Joe classic cover finally got ripped and I was after new ones. There were two choices, Official cover or the third party. The third party ones are imitation of the original design, but there were reviews that complain about the quality. Considering that I want the cover to last many years to come, I divided to go for the KJ original. I received one and I was pleased with my decision. Its quality is brilliant. The strap mechanism hold the cover on to the KJ classic well and it would stay on even in the storm. It can be taken off easily by simply snap off the strap. Although it looks like a bit too expensive for just grill cover, I think it is worth it. I can highly recommend it to people who is looking for KJ cover.

Bit pricey but does the job well. I had to tuck the castors inward to be able to cover them properly. Seems to keep it dry and in good order. Magnet for spider webs for some reason.What would be nice is if it had a carabiner to hang it up instead of having to throw it on the floor or a bench while it's covered in cobwebs.Does the job.

If you’re reading these reviews, you likely have a KJ JR. Short answer - buy it. Very heavy duty and you’ll be confident leaving your expensive bit of kit outside no matter the weather.

Stitching a bit poor

It has one job, to keep the rain off. Some of the seams are taped, but the ones on the unnecessary chimney stack aren't, so the cast iron vent, the only bit that might rust, gets wet. Other than that it's a nice design, cinched on tight with to clip/strap assemblies. I shall make it watertight with my drysuit repair kit, but at £40, I don't think I should have to.Edit. It faded really badly in a few months, and rotted at the seams within a year. It's cheap generic replacement has out performed and outlasted it in every respect.
