The tests worked exactly as described and was so easy to use. We followed the instructions and the mold started growing just as the booklet described. Honestly, I didn't even try to guess at what each of the different kinds they were. It's not that the booklet isn't clear, it's that I didn't feel educated enough to know for sure I was right. That's why it's so perfect that the experts are able to let you know for sure.The booklet seemed a little hesitant about the air test, which is what I needed to test in the six places. I placed the plates in an as-enclosed area as I could find and they worked with no problems. Possibly the air is just so saturated it worked for us, but if air is your issue, I would *definitely* give this product a try.It's a little freaky to suddenly see exactly what you're breathing. I sent the photos as instructed to the company and they responded the same day with an identification report that is perfect for sending to the landlord. I can't recommend this product more if you're concerned about mold.

I had one bathroom in the house that was smelling increasingly "earthy" over a period of weeks. I immediately placed my order.The kit was received quickly. It was packaged very well, ensuring the petri dishes were not contaminated. The instructions were well written in a larger format, organized, and easy to follow.The mold identification portion of the booklet had clear pictures with descriptions, an explanation of where the mold is typically found, under what conditions it grows, and the potential health impacts.The instructions and options for mold remediation/removal/prevention were also well written.I placed 3 of the 6 uncovered dishes in the bathroom with the door closed for an hour. Gathered each one, placed and sealed the lids with tape, labeling each with date and location. They were then put in a dark corner of my office (the warmest room in the house) where they sat untouched for a few days.When I finally look at them, they had several varieties of mold growing. Some I could identify with the book, others I could not. I sent an email off with photos of my spotted, fuzzy dishes asking for help.Within 48 hours I had a very professionally written pdf response using my photos with an ID and explanation of each mold type found on the petri dish, for all three dishes ... Easy to use. The instructions are okay. The booklet includes pictures of mold types to help you identify what you have. I wasn't sure in a couple of cases so I sent pictures to the email address listed in the booklet and quickly received a detailed reply.

This is such a great tool and asset to determine a solution. The directions are simple and precise. We did an open air and a swab for two petri dishes. Checking on the protected samples in 3/5/9 days helped determine when to send photos to the provided email. In less than twelve hours we had a report and appropriate instructions. THIS IS A RELIABLE KIT AND BUSINESS.

The mold tests were easy to use with clear instruction. The best part of these tests is you can email pictures of the tests to the company and they will identify the mold and give you a breakdown on the different molds.

The best part of the product is the ability to send photos of the mold and have the company respond with the type and best method to treat. My package came without labels and instructions but the company refunded me. It did take more than 48 hours for the mold to grow so consider waiting at least 72 or more hours to allow all mold to grow.

I was very pleased with this product. It was reasonably priced, easy to use, and the results are easy to understand. Also included with the product is the ability to send the photos of the petri dishes to an email that is included with the kit. I was amazed at how fast I received a report in less than 24 hours from the lab that confirmed and further explained the photos that I sent to them. This is a really good product. I am glad that I use these. And will use this again after treatment to verify that the air quality in the home is safe. 👍🏽
